This laughable car dealership,, con artists of the worst kind, deflates list prices on used cars to reel you in, then creates various fake fees to actually sell the vehicle at an exorbitant price. They also don’t honor their own deals: They tried to force me to spend nearly 2k on LoJack monitoring on a vehicle for no reason, refused to remove it in its entirety when I asked, lied to me that my trade in vehicle has no value, and the original salesman I worked with was so bored and distracted that I couldn’t believe he was in sales. The car they tried to sell me was scuffed up in the way a used certified vehicle is not supposed to be. . Here’s the important part: they offered me $500 on a trade-in acting like they were being generous. The next day I drove across the state line to Connecticut to another Volkswagen dealership, and I got $2000 on the same trade in. The other dealership sold me a great car in perfect condition—a better trim even— that looked like it was going to be $2000 more than at Teddy but there was no LoJack or any other nonsense, so, especially after trade in, the other car was less expensive and a significantly better deal. Also the professionalism and pleasantness of the salesman at the Connecticut VW dealership compared.to the checked out guys who tried to work me over at this one is worth noting. Yes, there are good car dealerships out there, but the scammy, crummy Teddy Volkswagen should be avoided at all costs. More

I would give it 0 if I could. They had advertised a car and I started to work with a salesperson on acquiring it. It started really well but then I was not able to get any picture They had advertised a car and I started to work with a salesperson on acquiring it. It started really well but then I was not able to get any pictures or video of the car as I was trying to get the car from out of the state. They said that they would deliver the car free of charge which was nice. I also offered to put a deposit on the car but they were telling me to just wait for the pictures. A week later I saw the pictures were uploaded to the web and the price was $2000 higher than when I started to inquire about it. So I called the salesman he was really nice but he said to me that the car was sold. I'm really disappointed. This is not how you should treat the customers. More
