This dealership from the service department to the sales department is the best Car dealership We ‘ve ever encountered; and as senior adults, we have dealt with many! We were traveling with our Ford truck department is the best Car dealership We ‘ve ever encountered; and as senior adults, we have dealt with many! We were traveling with our Ford truck pulling a 42’ fifth wheel and experienced power issues with truck. My husband, Dennis, debating about stopping and noticed driving a sign for a Ford dealership so we exited and found our way there. Truck would not even make into parking lot so we were hanging out with fifth wheel in a very busy road. Service department personnel came right out to help and pulled us off road. They worked us into their day with bad news about our truck-it needed a pricey part that would take 6 weeks or longer! We are 7 hours from home! After talking to all our insurances, towing was only good for so many miles for both truck and 5th wheel and cost would be thousands of $$$ to tow both! We’re in a dilema for sure! So thinking of our options, Service Department called in a sales consultant, David Householder, who just happened to get a truck that was a new newer but pretty much same features! We traded! Both the Service Department and I wish I knew their names and David stayed with us till the end to get us back on the road! They had someone drive us to get lunch, David drove us to a hotel and even helped us transfer our belongings from one truck to the new one! They even let us house our 5th wheel there! I can’t say enough kind words about the entire dealership! Martin, the finance department, was awesome too! Ted Russell Ford on Parkside Dr, Knoxville, has our vote for the best dealership in all categories! More

We were trying to trade one of our cars for a Mustang today. We talked to the salesman yesterday and he was telling us how great their trade-in values were so we decided to give them a try. All said and today. We talked to the salesman yesterday and he was telling us how great their trade-in values were so we decided to give them a try. All said and done they were saying we were $8000 upside down (which is probably $2000 under what our one car is worth). After telling us that they wanted us to come in with $15,000 down on a $34,000 car. I have never been treated that way from any other dealership in my life. I was also going order a new bronco from them but I guess I’ll go to Ray Varner Ford for that More
RV Service at this location is NOT recommended.Bought RV Service at this location is NOT recommended. Bought full set of tires (6) that were out of balance when leaving the location. They realized their RV Service at this location is NOT recommended. Bought full set of tires (6) that were out of balance when leaving the location. They realized their equipment was out of spec when they attempted to re-balance my tires. (extra trip to location 120 miles). They did a "Full Service" and review of the motorhome while doing the tires. They noted a "slight" leak" in a valve cover. Asked the RV service manager to replace the gaskets. Answer by Matt, "we can't do that work"! The slight leak equated to a half quart of oil in 120 miles, not slight! Returned to location and spoke to the Service Manager Kelly. Apologizes that they don't have any certified technicians to change valve cover gaskets! Additionally, they wouldn't be able to do the work for 6-8 weeks, if they can find a certified technician to do the work! To the Ford Management at Ted Russell, you do not have RV service. If your mechanics can't change valve cover gaskets, you also don't have truck service. This was an F53 Ford Chassis. Your operation obviously does not have their equipment maintained to keep it in spec based on my experience! I strongly advise any Ford Chassis RV owners to avoid this location for service of any type! More
Do not go here for service! They are too expensive and not sure they are completely truthful about what needs to be done. I would not trust them. Very bad experience. Don’t fall for their lifetime power train warranty scam! Don’t fall for this dealership’s xxxxxxx sales antics. They claim to provide a lifetime power train warranty, but when it comes time to actually have Don’t fall for this dealership’s xxxxxxx sales antics. They claim to provide a lifetime power train warranty, but when it comes time to actually have to cover something the third party warranty they bought finds a reason to deny the claim. In my case, my truck developed an oil leak in the timing belt cover, it’s a rather costly repair. The warranty company denied the claim after several hours of deliberating by saying doing my own oil changes voided my warranty. Oil changes had absolutely nothing to do with this defect. But still, I provided receipts of every oil filter and oil I have ever purchased and put in the truck. Not a single manufacturer’s warranty in the US prohibits DIY preventative maintenance. Several years ago I had a very bad experience where an oil change damaged my brand new car, ever since I’ve done my own, with top quality filters and full synthetic oil. The service department, and I assume the dealership in general has done nothing but wash their hands of this with nothing more than lip service and a $2,000 repair bill to cover on my own. I say I assume, because they refuse to return calls, which is not much worse than the warranty company refusing to give me the names of the employees I spoke to, and told me “well, you did get the warranty for free”. Not sure what that has to do with it, but sure gives real insight into why they denied the claim. Again, avoid this dealership, their “warranty” isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Go somewhere else, there are too many good dealerships who do right by their customers and stand by their word. This dealership uses meaningless words and warranties to convince you to buy. More
