Bought a vehicle here last year and had a great experience. Recommended others to addy's and addy's got the business. Came in this year to see options on trade in. Love current vehicle but wanted t experience. Recommended others to addy's and addy's got the business. Came in this year to see options on trade in. Love current vehicle but wanted to see if maybe I could rock the same payment on a newer van with longer term. Waited 3 hrs for an answer - turned down the deal. No biggie. The PROBLEM: got a call from Ronan (Roman?) the next day saying they found a bank that could get me the deal I was looking for. Yay! So I fought rush hour traffic on 501 to get there to make a deal. Waited 15 min for Ronan and got a sales manager that offered me a worse deal than the day before!!! What?! Asked again for Ronan and Greg came over (remembered him from the day before) and introduced himself as Ronan and apologized for wasting my time to come out there cuz there was no deal that was offered on the phone. Bottom line: management is okay with employees lying to repeat customers. To Addys: I work in myrtle beach and work with the public. I have sent business your way and your staff knows it. I will never do it again and will be very vocal about the negative experience I had. I would have came back and sent more people your way, but because you called me back and then lied to my face once I gave up another evening for you, I will never recommend addy's again. You pissed on me a little too much. More

WARNING!!! Please stay away from this dealership. I have been buying new vehicles for over thirty years and this place is of the likes that I have never seen before. Went into Addy's Harbor Dodge to trade i been buying new vehicles for over thirty years and this place is of the likes that I have never seen before. Went into Addy's Harbor Dodge to trade in my vehicle for a new one. They played the bait and switch game on the trade in value of my car, that is when your verbally promised one thing, and something else is put on your contract papers. They got me for over $500.00. When I realized this, I tried calling them for days with no reponse from anyone. Finally I was told there is nothing they can do, and to stop calling the dealership. What a wonderful way to treat your customers!!! But what was more incredible, was the way they had the sales routine worked out. The only thing I can compare it to, is the sales pressure tactics they use in timeshare sales. They take there customers (victims) and set them at tables and use high pressure sales tactics. Then 2 or 3 other salesmen will come over and try to pressure you until you give in. I spoke with one lady while I was in there, who said she was in there for over four hours being pressured into buying a vehicle she did not want. Something needs to be done with this business, they are totally out of control. Please go to Better Business Bureau's website and take a look at the complaints against them. There are too many other reputable dealerships in the area to be dealing with these crooks. Shame on the owner's for allowing this to happen!!! More
The employees of both Sales and Management lie-completely. They skate around their paperwork and take COMPLETE advantage of their HONEST consumers. They "Commonly" practice the (UNLAWFUL) prac lie-completely. They skate around their paperwork and take COMPLETE advantage of their HONEST consumers. They "Commonly" practice the (UNLAWFUL) practice of Spot Delivery at this dealership. They send text messages and calls MANY times via a wrok day. It also "appears" they may work closely with several surrounding agencies which "may" provide comfort in their croocked practices. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. And, to think, it is US taxpayers that helped bail you out not too long ago. Thanks for the gratitude. More

i bought a jeep from this dealer in lexington. It was a crysler backed certified jeep. had a knocking in the steering from the first day and took the jeep back and they said to watch it that I had a year t crysler backed certified jeep. had a knocking in the steering from the first day and took the jeep back and they said to watch it that I had a year to bring it back. they sold the dealership and JTs would not honor promises made by addys. i contacted Frank dempsey who was taking care of Addy's business and closing out. Frank told me to contact caldwell but he never responded. i would like for Addy's to make the jeep right. it evidently needs a part on the steering column. it was sold to me with this problem and was not corrected when i brought it to their attention. JTs said that Addy should take care of this problem, that it was not their responsibility. Ken parks 112 lake murray terrace Lexington, SC 29072 More
BUYER WITH A LESSOR CREDIT SCORE...***BEWARE*** Don't learn it the hard way as I had to do this past week. Addy's Harbor Dodge Practices the crime of "SPOT DELIVERY" but they don't tell you that. I went learn it the hard way as I had to do this past week. Addy's Harbor Dodge Practices the crime of "SPOT DELIVERY" but they don't tell you that. I went in to see if I could be re-financed and trade my current vehicle in. Against my REPEATED desire to NOT see or test drive ANY car until I was assured of financing. My salesman Scott Howard and the SALES MANAGER MIKE HOWARD came to and said "we can not begin to get you approved until you drive the car we pulled around and tell us if you like it. Fine-I drove the car on the back road of the dealership and right back to park it. From there it was a whirlwind of "Hey-lookk at this deal we worked out for you"...You are all approved!(this is during a 4 hour visit at ADDY's. I asked 3 THREE of them if they were certain I was approved for this 2012 Dodge Avenger and how could that be possible I asked. All 3 which INCLUDES the RUDE, NO-EYE CONTACT-LYING FINANCE MANAGER CHRIS somebody who happens to be new there. I wonder what happened to the old manager, this guy certainly doesn't deserve the privillage to work with the public. This all began the afternoon of Jan 9, 2011 and ended last 1/15/2012 at 3:00 am when they sent a tow truck to tow the 2012 Dodge.Called police, police explained I didn't have any rights, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A CONTRACT signed by the dealership with a %rate, paymet due date, amount due, etc. This is what they do to those of us less educated. It is called SPOT DELIVERY SCAM and guess what? The Dealership has rights that protect THEM if one tries to fight or prove it-WHICH I AM IN THE PROCESS OF ALL WEEK. ALL OF MY PAPERWORK AND MY CONTRACT ARE ALL BOGUS-IT'S AS IF THEY WROTE A BIG FAT CHECK ON AN ACCOUNT THAT DOESN'T EXIST. THEY DO THIS IN HOPES THAT THE BUYER WILL LIKE THE CAR SO MUCH THEY WILL DO WHAT EVER THE DEALERSHIP ASKS, THE NEXT DAY, OR TWO DAYS AFTER YOU HAVE THE CAR. IF YOU DON'T COMPLY, THEY DEMAND THE CAR TO BE RETURNED AND THEN THEY REPORTED IT STOLEN!! HA-i HAVE THE DANG KEY AND A SIGNED CONTRACT. I HAVE NO VEHICLE NOW. I AM CONTINUING TO FIGHT THIS AND PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING TO ANOTHER INNOCENT CONSUMER. WHAT ABOUT MY RIGHTS? WHO IS MONITORING THE FRAUD, LIES, AND SCAMS GOING ON RAMPID AMOUNG CAR DEALERS. PLEASE-PLEASE-STAY AWAY FROM ADDY'S HARBOUR DODGE ON 502 CONWAY SC. IT SIMPLY IS NOT RIGHT,BBB, CONSUMER AFFAIRS, LOCAL NEWS CHANNELS ARE THE AVENUES I HAVE STARTED WITH TO INVESTIGATE THIS SCAM. I RETURN TO THE MAGISTRTES OFFICE TUESDAY TO GAIN DIRECTION THERE. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE SITUATION, PLEASE POST A COMMENT. WISH ME LUCK, SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING AND I AM GOING TO TRY. More
Having traded in my 2010 Jonnery for a 2011 Durango I cancelled my extended warrenty on the jounery. The business person cancelling the contract told me I should receive my refund in six to eight weeks ( cancelled my extended warrenty on the jounery. The business person cancelling the contract told me I should receive my refund in six to eight weeks (T.H.). After nine weeks I stopped in to see if there was anything on my refund. T.H. was gone so I talked to E.B. who said I should see the refund in ten to twelve weeks. At the end of thirteen weeks I stopped at the dealership to see E.B. she was gone. I stood outside the business office about five to ten minutes and Mr. Steven Delaney came up to me and asked if he could help me. I told him I was looking for someone to help me on getting my warrenty refund. He said come into the office and how long have I been waiting. I told him it was week thirteen and he said you should have had it back by now. He called upstairs to find where it could be. After about five minutes of waiting he decided to go up and see where it was. After about eight to ten minutes he came back with the check in his hand. I was supprised because I thought I would be getting another stall story. I was happy the way he conducted business never using any negatives and listing to me as a customer with a problem. Please give him a gold star for great customer service. I guess that is why I keep coming back to Addy's. More
You have a very good F&I Manager/Office "Paper Work" completed in record time and explained well. She was informative, very beautiful, well spoken, focused and extremely knowledable and friendly. Work" completed in record time and explained well. She was informative, very beautiful, well spoken, focused and extremely knowledable and friendly. Nate was the first person out the door when we pulled in the lot, and he very wisely watched us, but didn't approach until he saw us turn and look toward the building. He has a GREAT sense of balance..............not TOO pushy, but doesn't LOSE you by being SO direct...........and definitely has a way of keeping you focused as far as the most efficient way to get information in order FIRST so that we are all on the same page in approaching the deal. I wish I could remember the personable man that came in second; I believe he might have been the used Car Sales Manager; or possibly in F&I...........can't remember his name either; he was very friendly; straight business............but honestly doesn't strike you as QUITE as 'sincere' as the others..........(aka....'typical' car dealer smile....) We were there for 3 1/2 hours.........TRYING to come to an agreement but for us completed the deal in a normal amount of time, serving us well. In the long run everyone was satisfied with the deal..........we drove away content with the deal, knowing we paid full 'fair' price for the new 2011 "Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl" Dakota Truck, but not minding because we were treated fairly on the trade we had. Please sing "praises" for your Office Lady AND Nate..............as they were superb and very important to closing this deal. Thank you ADDEY HARBOR Dodge for picking the RIGHT PEOPLE for your dealership...and Thank You for appreciating customers like ourselves!!! A GREAT DEAL for everyone!! More
These guys saved me alot of money, so much that I have taken it to another dealer. These bottom feeders refused to give me trade-in value for my car. I sat there for 2 hours waiting for a trade value with taken it to another dealer. These bottom feeders refused to give me trade-in value for my car. I sat there for 2 hours waiting for a trade value with no luck. I was told I had equity, but not how much. I was showed a truck similar to what I wanted, but it was wrong color, wrong gear ratio and without an option that I required. I guess that I had to commit to buying this truck BEFORE any prices would be disclosed They really expected me to buy a new truck without knowing my trade value, the sales price of the new truck or finance rates. The sales guy was not the problem, he is merely a filter. The sales manager, Mike, was really the pits! I have bought new trucks for my business about every three to four years for the past 30 years and I have never had an experience like this. Sorry, I am a small business that needs to know the budget and what my payments will be. This was my first attempt to purchase a Dodge product ever! And you can be sure my last. Dealers/management like this need to eliminated, it gives the auto industry more bad press. More
