I purchased a new Honda Civic at this dealership in July 2023. Mistakes were made on the dealership end which prolonged the title being sent. My check had cleared. I reached out to the DMV fraud department 2023. Mistakes were made on the dealership end which prolonged the title being sent. My check had cleared. I reached out to the DMV fraud department and shortly after was able to get my car title. I am still sorting out DMV paperwork since the dealership must have made mistakes with transfer of title for my trade-in. I have never had so many paperwork errors when dealing with a facility. I just read that a Swickard in Alaska was in trouble for fraud. I am assuming that there are issues with poor management. I did think the salesman was kind and hardworking. More
I always bring my car to Acura of Thousand Oaks where I purchased it brand new. My vehicle is a critical part of my career because I cannot be late nor delay my services, for any reason. I was happy to hav purchased it brand new. My vehicle is a critical part of my career because I cannot be late nor delay my services, for any reason. I was happy to have found a caring Service Advisor at Acura but an after almost a year, he moved to Honda of TO. Justin Z. Soohoo, has always been an outstanding ambassador of the Acura brand, he makes us feel like one of his when caring for our vehicle. At Honda of TO, he continues to elevate this brand with his extra-caring ways and relationship skills. He explains the services needed and provides us alternatives to fix the maintenance services, at the same time. He updates us during the maintenance protocols and makes sure that our vehicle is in tip top shape, all the time. Justin is an outstanding ambassador of how service advisors should be: personable, caring, and an honest individual who puts his customers at a higher level of respect than others. More

The salesman was nice, and the facility was clean. It took hours to complete the paperwork so I left. I returned a few days later and spend more time completing paperwork. I was paying with a check so It took hours to complete the paperwork so I left. I returned a few days later and spend more time completing paperwork. I was paying with a check so it wasn’t a complicated issue. A few weeks later the staff calls and tells me they made mistakes on the paperwork. I would have to return so they could fix their mistakes which included a wrong VIN number and incorrect year of my trade in. I reached out to the manager but he never responded. More
My son leased the car from them about three years ago. He had a really good experience. He wanted to buy the car out and TO Honda's xxI woman told him the only way that they would handle it is if he bough He had a really good experience. He wanted to buy the car out and TO Honda's xxI woman told him the only way that they would handle it is if he bought a $2500 warranty. I told my son of course he misunderstood the xxI woman. I spoke to the xxI person and she doubled down. She not only said that they will only handle the deal if they sold the overpriced warranty that everybody wanted, but if we dealt with Honda finance directly, they would require we pay cash for the car. I told her that was ridiculous. It was ridiculous. Honda finance was very nice and they were happy to work with our lender. My advice, especially when dealing with a car dealer, is, if it sounds too good to be true, or sounds too bad to be true, proceed thoughtfully. More
I took my car in to take care of a warranty issue. My door panel had developed a defect on the coating. My car has only 10k miles on it and the warranty still has a year left on a three-year warranty. My door panel had developed a defect on the coating. My car has only 10k miles on it and the warranty still has a year left on a three-year warranty. It quickly became obvious that the service manager had no intention of helping me. This is what she had to say.... *Problems of this type usually show up in the first year *Nothing but water should be used to clean the door panel (Really, tell that to a detailer) *My elbow caused the coating to wear out She called it wear and tear and Honda will not cover it, end of the story. I then took the car to Honda of Reseda and had no problem, they looked at the panel over and declared it a defect. They are ordering the part. If you are looking for great customer service I recommend Honda of Reseda. As for Honda of Thousand oaks don't waste your time, go to someone that actually cares about you and your car. More
Terrible Policies and Management. I have been planning to buy my first car but they refuse to give me a test drive without insurance. None of the other dealers refused me to take a test drive. Even after sev buy my first car but they refuse to give me a test drive without insurance. None of the other dealers refused me to take a test drive. Even after several inquiries, they refuse to acknowledge the fact that insurance is tied to a specific vehicle and I cannot just get insurance without purchasing the vehicle first. The insurance of test-drive vehicles is tied with the dealer and not the consumer. More

Very easy transaction. Not any pressure. I did have one problem after I took the car home. Apparently it had an aftermarket security system that was causing some issues. I took the car back to the dealer a problem after I took the car home. Apparently it had an aftermarket security system that was causing some issues. I took the car back to the dealer and they removed the system that fixed the problems at no charge. Overall I would recommend this dealer if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle. More
Do NOT buy a used car here. Bought a certified pre-owned $22,000 2015 Honda Crv EXL. List Of Problems in First Year #1. First rain, the cars right tail light was full of water like a fish tank. To be $22,000 2015 Honda Crv EXL. List Of Problems in First Year #1. First rain, the cars right tail light was full of water like a fish tank. To be fair the replaced the tail light with a new one but did not replace any of the electrical that was swimming. Which I have pictures of. . #2. Car shakes badly at any stoplight with the AC OFF. Took this into the dealer, Willy and company said they found no problem yet I can replicate it Everytime and I have it on video of me recreating it. They were always way to slammed to properly look into it. #3. Car would not start or unlock correctly. Took it in they said the door lock actuator died and that the remote unlock sensor was broken. $650 dollars later the doors never unlocked from the back of the car again.. They covered none of this saying that it was out of warranty because of the miles I drove. (After 10k miles your warranty expires regardless of 1 year.) At this time I complained again about the car shaking, they found no problem. #4. Car almost didn't start, was near O'Reilly took it in they said the car battery was dead even though I have had the car less then a year. O'Reilly suggested there could be an electrical issue. Took it back to honda, Honda replaces the battery free of charge and insisted after an inspection just a bad battery. Car Battery dies 3 weeks later. #5. COVID 19 Crisis begins. I have to be quarantined but still start my car every two days. Car does not start. Talked to Willy the man with an answer for every reason why the lemon they sold me isn't a lemon, says the car batteries are dying for everyone yet my mother with the same car has no issues. side #6. take car back again and drop off for 12 days and they didn't even begin to fix the car. had to loan me a car for the battety issues yet again and charged me for a battery that isn't bad. $150 again for not fixing the correct issue. #7. It turned out it was the KARR alarm that they made me buy as an add-on was draining the battery of my car. after I get them to disconnect the $1,000 alarm I had to pay for, that night my car got broken into. In two years of owning the car i took a $9,000 loss. Another issue was the dishonest finance manager. Said gap insurance was free and showed me the total value of the deal and said either i get it or not the price remains the same. well he added 800 into the price and was planning on charging me regardless.
