I tried to refinance. well turned out to be worth $800 I was paying over $8000 for a standard car no extras not even cruise control. I called and was told they wouldn't do that. I would NEVER recommend SAC. If I could, I would go back and stop myself from signing that contract. I recently have been affected by COVID-19. I have been trying to get in contact with their corporate office since March 17th. Since I am a new hire, I will not get paid until late April. Mind you I have been applying to a lot of places to get a second job to help with my expenses. I got a call from the semi local “dealership” today, and she told me there was nothing she could do and they were going to repossess the lemon the following day. She then proceeded to ask, “ Well do you have anything you could pawn, or sell your blood, maybe borrow the money?” I have already pawned a good chunk of my items already! We are all struggling! Those who are labeled as “non-essential” are losing money which means we are having a hard time paying bills. The least they could is help. We are making these very high payments for cars that will literally break on us within the first year. DO NOT BUY HERE! Go somewhere else. If you have to Uber or Lyft, do it. You will be better off taking the bus and saving your money than making payments to them. If I had the money or resources to Uber or Lyft or even take the bus to work, I definitely would. This started yesterday she called I missed it called back and I was like oh I’m sorry I’ve been paying extra and was sure I had enough built up in credit for a payment apparently the most you can have built up is $72 so I owe $75 I said okay well I have no way to get to the bank tonight ( it was after 5pm that I got to the phone to be able to call them back after the 4 calls I missed starting at 4:07pm) and my daughter has archery tomorrow so I won’t make it to the bank but I will be in first thing Monday morning with that payment she says then the car needs dropped off at the lot until payment is received I said excuse me she says what’s the address of this car we will pick it up I said no I’ll pay it Monday she says the payment or car needs to be on the lot by 6pm or a repossession will be in progress. There has been ONE other time in 4 years and 2 vehicles later that I have been late and the harassment is just horrible. I have called a couple times before EARLY into my loan and they’ve let me wait until Monday but now with my car ALMOST paid off they won’t work with me. I’ve paid more in interest than what I have left on the car itself. NEVER GO HERE More
