I had a Volkswagen Jetta wagon and was in a car accident on the interstate with my 15-year-old daughter. The car was totaled by a huge dump truck who lost control in rain. We did not even get whiplash-- no scrapes, bruises-- nothing. There was no doubt that I was buying the same car. But, they aren't making them anymore, so Susanne convinced me to test a Tiguan, and I loved it. Went home to research and it has GREAT crash test ratings.
