I arrived at the dealership interested in the vehicle and spoke to the head of Buick sales on the exact cost of the vehicle before I took it for a test drive. I was still interested but had 2 questions I needed answered before we could go further. The salesman said he'd look into my questions and get back to me. 3 days went by and I decided to call. I was told by the salesman that he did not look onto responses to my questions, the vehicle was going to auction and that the price that we initially agreed on increased by $4000. I was completely upset and confused as to why I never got a call, never received responses to my questions, why the vehicle was going to auction when I was interested in moving forward and why the vehicle's price increased by $4000. That is the end of my review. More
While here from Tennessee, we had a couple of problems with our GMC truck. Since it was during spring break, it took a few days to get an appointment. Meanwhile, we received text updates to remind us of o with our GMC truck. Since it was during spring break, it took a few days to get an appointment. Meanwhile, we received text updates to remind us of our appointment. We requested a loaner vehicle & when we arrived one was waiting for us. It was a small SUV & was perfect as a loaner. Todd, our service advisor was extremely helpful. After we left, we received a text to let us know the status. When finished, Todd notified us our vehicle was ready. When we arrived for pickup, they brought our truck to the front. Both problems were corrected & we were most happy with their service. I would not hesitate to call them again if I needed anything while in the area! More
Our family has purchased many vehicles over the years from this dealership. Our latest purchase has been terrible. It has under 48,000 miles and has always run like a top. It has never needed any service aside from scheduled maintenance. There was a safety recall and a part was ordered; When it came in an appointment was made but had to be rescheduled due to family illness. After receiving 2 calls reminding me that they had my part: I make another appointment and bring the Vibe in. Now starts a cascading of issues for your consideration: I bring car in by appointment and am told they have to order the part, so car will remain overnight. They find maintenance issues for which I am grateful ... but then I receive a call that after replacing serp belt, airbag, oil, coolant flush; cabin filter a test run showed the car engine check light is on (never happened before) and I need a new computer or the car will not run right! I was shocked ... but told, although it is a lot to swallow, yes the car suddenly developed an expensive problem, but the good news is they have a replacement computer for my 2007 Vibe IN STOCK! I have a bad feeling about all this, but when I make the point that I want the old part and I would like them to inspect it to be sure it is the same computer that I drove in with, I am told, no problem, you can have the part, but verifying that it is the original will not be possible. When I go in next day to pick up the car I am told that I cannot have the old part because of a core charge, but that it was indeed the original! I ask how they could promise me the old part yesterday, but could not verify that it was the original, now I am being told that I cannot have the part, but that they could verify that it was the original! The answer was that he "made a mistake". I think I would have to be a blithering idiot to return to Sunset Auto. Odd thing is ... if you believe things happen for a reason: I am planning on buying a car in January or Feb. I had been considering an Equinox, especially since I had a relationship with the dealer! I feel like I have been sent a memo to look elsewhere. Mazda CX-5 here I come. More

One of the used car salesman called last night and asked if I was still buying the car. I advised that financing was approved and I would be sending down payment Fedex this morning. I called this morning to find out they sold the car last night after I had been working in good faith with them for 3 days. The used car manager even advised me that he cou Ltd take a credit card for down payment even though it is strictly against the dealership policy. He lied to me! The finance director also decided to disregard the promise to call me back. Shady business dealings. Buyers beware of this place! More

They emailed us and even said the car was ours. Very poor crooked dealership. Our advice is to deal with a more reputable dealership. More
