This was my first time going through this dealership. Even under less than stellar conditions, everyone here was awesome and honest. As in, actual people. I didn't feel like a number or a sale. Michael Joh is a nice guy, and likes money. Per title, he thinks virtuously, after 7 hours of taming, we were coerced to purchase a car. Naturally, finance came through Driveway Finance Corp, who, based on my 827-credit score stroked with “generous” 6.09% vs my 4.99% pre-approval from Credit Union, I intended to use and priorly shown to manager(didn’t know then) Blake Murley. Also, they rushed me with trade-in decision, offering $500 less than lowest Blue Book estimate (lost at least 2K). 3 hours later, I mentioned being tired and coming back later, salesman Harold left&returned within 5 min. and my plate from old car, making me uncomfortable repeating my wish. We were mostly neglected, waiting & watching them doing other business, was hard for my diabetic husband without lunch.… Until doors closed at 5PM, only then it’s became intense and loud. First, along with 2 others, a secondary Certified Service Agreement Warranty was imposed as “everyone gets it” because Manufacturer’s warranty “is nothing”. Over enthused (as if it wasn’t last&late night of the week), Michael was talking about economy, crypto & politics, bragging about career and Polish girlfriend, sharing family pictures, while I was destructed and exhausted, holding wiggling tablet, trying to focus on reading small print and sign. Long story-short, between noon&7PM, hidden fees, low-ball trade-in and unnecessary warranties, 26K car ended up at 34K+1% swindle. Surely, wild transaction ended in full darkness, under the rain, moving our stuff 10 yards between old Chevy into almost new CX-5. Within 15 hours, on Sunday morning, I asked Michael to cancel/revise this “deal”, as it wasn’t in the system yet - no response. Too, Michael made a big mistake, giving me both titles on hand, however on Monday I returned them along with a second key, as a trade for warranties cancellation (still, not complete), but he isn't able to revolve the interest. 3 days later, Driveway Finance agent dots on both: interest and additional warranties indeed, being setup by Mazda’s financing (Michael), makes one of them a layer. I know it sound utterly stupid on how did it happened, blaming on 60yr. old brain-fog, or spell, and not without team-work oversight, thus now I’m in talks with lawyer to reinstate this contract, and Attorney General to, perhaps emend the law to 3-day Rescission time, similar to buying a house. Remember, there is limit for polite, friendly and "nice guy", as soon you press Done. P.S. Lawyer’s note: “Rescission may be brought about by decree or by mutual consent" More
