An honest dealership, pretty rare find Subaru of Puyallup = Outstanding Dick Hannah Subaru = Dishonest/aggressive We recently purchased a new 2016 Outback Limited from Subaru of Subaru of Puyallup = Outstanding Dick Hannah Subaru = Dishonest/aggressive We recently purchased a new 2016 Outback Limited from Subaru of Puyallup. Because we lived in a remote area far from most Subaru dealers, we dealt with dealers in Washington, northern Oregon and western Idaho. We interacted with 8 different dealers through the internet and 5 of those we visited in person. Most were somewhat honest and only mildly pushy with their sales tactics. Two were quite dishonest and downright aggressive (see comments at end of this review). My wife and I are not “spring chickens” nor are we very gullible. Above all, we appreciate honesty. Kimberlee of Subaru of Puyallup accepted an offer we presented over the phone and the car was as they described when we picked it up. Only one other dealer would supposedly match our offer but they proved untrustworthy. Kimberlee was very honest about what she did know (which was quite impressive) and would admit if she did not know something. She was always quick to get us an answer when she did not know it at the time. She spent the time showing us all the features of the car. The sales manager was actually pleasant to deal with. I do not think that has ever happened to us before. He did not try to upsell other cars or services to us that we did not want. He was excellent at processing our out-of-state purchase. I never thought I would say a car dealership demonstrated integrity until we purchase our car here. I would shop here again and send a close friend or family member here. Of those dealerships Dick Hannah Subaru and Subaru of Bend proved to be the most dishonest. The unbiased Yelp reviews agree. Our experience with Dick Hannah Subaru was by far the worse. Our experience with Jerimiah was miserable. It was like pulling teeth to get a written quote from him. When we finally did, it was incomplete and from his personal cell, not the dealership. He would not take a down payment from us which we requested to help make sure the car would be there after we drove 5 hours. After we were assured he had reserved a car for us, it was still listed for sale on their website. This tactic likely works for them as it would allow them to sell the reserved car to someone else and then do a “bait and switch” after we got there. In all honestly the dealership must promote that type of behavior by their sales people. Jerimiah was likely following direction from his managers. I have been in many times before and the stars were never aligned but he and i worked together and this past saturday i walked out with a 2016 Forrester! The deal was quick and painless and like no ever experience I have ever had. My last car i bough from Kia in Tacoma and spent ALL day there. I was at Subaru less than 2 hours from start to finish! They didn't waste my time and had everything in order without rushing me in or out. They answered every question and made sure that i was set before letting me loose into the wild. George is THE best and i strongly encourage you to go see him with any car needs!! He really needs to be a trainer because he knows how to make the customer experience out of this world! I have already recommended Subaru to other people and will continue to do so! Subaru has my business for life now. More

I had been car shopping for a few weeks by the time I ended up in Puyall I can not say enough good things about my experience with Subaru of Puyallup! I had been car shopping for a few weeks by the time I ended up in Puyallup & was having the WORST experiences with other dealerships, I couldn't even keep track of how many lies I was being told & how hard it was to just get a straight answer out of any sales person at various lots UNTIL I went to see Chris Forest at Subaru of Puyallup! He was hands down the most helpful, knowledgeable and honest sales person I have ever dealt with - which made buying a new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek a relaxing & easy experience. I really enjoyed the upfront pricing and having nothing hidden from me. Chris took his time with everything from helping me pick out the right Crosstrek that had all my needs to helping me get a good rate on car insurance to beating my interest rate of the loan I was pre-qualified for through my bank! Upon driving home in my new car that night I kept hearing a slightly 'whirring/howling' noise that instantly drove me crazy. I got back in touch with Chris and he got me in with the service department that same day then sent me home in a loaner car while they looked into the noise. The next day the service department called me to say they didn't hear the noise I was referring to - oh no! Chris then really went above & beyond and personally took my car for a test drive (per my request) and heard the noise!! He then figured out it was coming from a incorrectly installed roof rack which he fixed, boom the noise was gone! I am a proud owner of a 2016 Subaru and it was all because of Chris Forest, his insane customer service skills & willingness to help in anyway! Thanks for a GREAT car buying experience! :] More

We were obviously on our first visit... clearly not ready to get in a drive the car and our sales rep had a fantastic read on that. He wasnt pushy, he was friendly, grabbed us some info and let us be on our way. We came back several days later when we were ready for more info, and it was great. Our sales rep Kirk knew everything there is to know, showed us the engine and all the details of the car, and took us for a drive. Id like to think that everyone's 'car buying' approach is a little different... and mine was what most sales reps probably hate...."drive it several times, think about it, change your mind, drive it again, consider a completely different car, change your mind again, analyze down to the littlest detail, and then finally get the car." Kirk was patient and helped answer all questions, never bugged us with phone calls like the jeep dealer did (we were test driving a grand cherokee as well) and it really helped us make the right decision. Even after my husband talked me into a 'turbo' model... we took it home, and I realized I gave up my cushy leather interior for a turbo I didnt care about... Subaru of Puyallup took care of us and got me my perfect car instead! Everyone in the office was friendly, welcoming, and fun. It made our car buying experience fantastic. More

When we were told that they would beat Costco's number, it peaked out interest. Then, we were shown a model that wasn't even presented or offered at the other dealer and it turned out to be the exact car we wanted. We fell in love with the car after taking it for a drive and bought it then and there. We got a great deal on our trade in as well. More
