I have had some unpleasant experiences with buying a car, however this one was awesome! Pete in finance was fantastic and super friendly. I never felt like i was being pushed to buy anything. It was an all around great experience. I love my car and would recommend them to anyone looking for a car!! More

Friendliest salesman Recently went into this dealership looking for a 2015 forester and dealt with Will which was extremely friendly and knowlegable in helping me find wha Recently went into this dealership looking for a 2015 forester and dealt with Will which was extremely friendly and knowlegable in helping me find what i wanted . I didnt know much about subaru and Will answered all my questions. Even though they did not have what i wanted due to a 8-10 week wait because of problems in Boston {where they ship it from} and i was in need of a car asap Will let me test drive a car similar to the one i wanted and even did a detailed search to see if possobly another dealer might have it in the tri state. Will was opposite of a typical sleazy pushy salesman. Very proffestional and a true gentleman. followed up with me a couple times after even though i purchased with another dealeraship. I will tell all my friends and family to go see Will when their time comes to buy or lease. I will be going to englewood to get any accessories i might need and definetly for my next car. More

I've owned 4 cars in my lifetime, and must say I never met a sales representative as atten It was such a pleasure working with salesman, Rolf Hansen. I've owned 4 cars in my lifetime, and must say I never met a sales representative as attentive and patient as Rolf. He was polite and courteous and took the time to explain EVERY feature/detail there was on the new 2015 Outback. He didn't just talk about it, we sat in the car and went over everything. Manual paddle shifting was a feature I wasn't familiar with, but on our test drive he demonstrated how it worked and what conditions paddle shifters would be beneficial in. On delivery, he went over everything again to make sure I was comfortable in my new car. I couldn't be happier and HIGHLY recommend Rolf and the staff at Town Subaru. More

Was very prompt in answering all my emails and phone calls. Never felt pressured to buy or to complete the sale on my first visit. Great follow up by Chirs a few days later to ensure that I was happy with my purchace and that there were no problems with the car. Dealer took care of all CT DMV paperwork to transfer my plates. Got an amazing deal on my Subaru Legacy and would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Jim O'Neill made "the dreaded car buying experience" into the most easy going experience I've had at a car dealership EVER. He made my husband and I feel like he had our best interests in mind and like he would work with us to make this process as easy and exciting as it should be. He was honest, amicable, and kind. Awful buying experience. Never purchase a car here. Found a car that I liked in the right color combination that was at Town Motors. I am out of state and needed to have the car shipped to me. The sales Found a car that I liked in the right color combination that was at Town Motors. I am out of state and needed to have the car shipped to me. The salesman (Chris Bradish) sent over the paperwork, I sent wire transfer, and scheduled a time to have the car picked up.. Then the problems started. The wire transfer was sent on 11/18/2014. Car was dropped off to me 5 days later, albeit with only one key when the salesman assured me there was two keys. I called both the finance manager and the salesman, no response of course. Temporary tag came with the car, good for 14 days. So I enjoy 14 days of driving. After that, no plates, registration, title, or spare key arrived yet. I give it another couple weeks, assuming they were busy. Still nothing. At this point my new car has been sitting in my garage because I can’t legally drive it with no plates. I call Chris back and ask what the deal is. He assures me that the documents and plates will be to me by 12/21/2015. I say ok, and wait. Still nothing. I begin calling back and texting and leaving voicemails to him daily, all with no response. I call his manager and anyone else at the dealership I can get ahold of- all no answers, no returned calls. Couple weeks of the daily calls and I still have no title or plates and no responses from anyone at Town motors. I finally get ahold of the motor vehicle department lady and she tells me it will be two more weeks until they get the plates. I ask why it has been taking so long, why did they only send a 14 day temporary tag, why do I have to continue to leave my new vehicle in the garage and drive a rental car because I can’t drive a car I paid for two months ago. She of course had no response. The tags eventually show up on 1/30/15, but without the spare key I was promised. I email Chris numerous times and he of course doesn’t respond for a week. He tries to push off responsibility to the shipping company. In summary-Town motors screwed me out of the following: • A $300 spare key • 2 months of driving • 2 months of paying registration, insurance, depreciation on my car • Countless hours calling and texting trying to find out the status. • Rental car bill as I couldn’t drive my car with no registration. NEVER buy a car from here unless you don’t mind leaving it sit for several months and have another vehicle to drive. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. They had no problems responding before I sent the money, but when it came time to actually get the documents in order- nothing but ignored calls. No organization, no responses ever, just total incompetence and lack of concern for the buyer. More
