The car had dents repaired and the car had been repainted. I did not notice it at first. I took the car back and they admitted there was damage, that they just missed it. I now don't believe. They convinced me to purchase another car from them. Unfortunately, I fell for their tricks. Now I am stuck with a car that I was not in the market for. I do't know what recourse I have. If you decided to buy from Santa Monica Subaru, be pre pared to be bamboozled. The employees lack integrity and they mislead the customers. Be prepared to be mislead and don't make any hasty decisions. They acted as if they did me a favor. I acted in good faith. They did not. Walk away if you have to. Who knows what's wrong with the car they pushed on me. Thanks. More
Santa monica subaru said they don't sell cars without the 1,995 lacar guy package paint and upholstery protection on top of the msrp. If we don't get that, they won't honor the 1,900 costco discount. We feel 1,995 lacar guy package paint and upholstery protection on top of the msrp. If we don't get that, they won't honor the 1,900 costco discount. We feel bamboozled so we walked away. They offer us about 3% percent lower interest if wepurchase the la car guy package and if we don't it's about 3% percent. Tied selling, which is against the law, occurs when a company conditions the sale of a product or service only if that customer purchases some other product or service. In the U.S., "tied-in" selling or "tied" products are addressed by both the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Tied selling may be used as a means of price discrimination in that it may help banks (or other companies) consolidate a customer's business within a single provider. More

This dealership falsely advertised a 2019 wrx for $20k and had it falsely advertised for several days. I emailed the dealership who confirmed the price of the car and that it hadn’t sold so I stopped by. and had it falsely advertised for several days. I emailed the dealership who confirmed the price of the car and that it hadn’t sold so I stopped by. Once there, they did the bait and switch and told me the car sold several hours ago and then tried to upsell me a different wrx. These guys are scammers and I believe what they did (false advertising) is illegal as well. The GM is well aware of this as well because we spoke about how shady this seemed. More

Worst experience of my life buying a car. I traded in my current Subaru to lease a new one. Meanwhile, I get a parking ticket a month later because the new owner of my traded-in car is a lousy driver. The current Subaru to lease a new one. Meanwhile, I get a parking ticket a month later because the new owner of my traded-in car is a lousy driver. The dealership was rude to me when I told them to give me proof that I did not own the car anymore. Then, I get a ticket from the Secretary of State’s office saying that I did not renew my license for the old car. Total hassle and they are not up to giving you the correct paperwork to make it all work. It’s like people there are not smart enough to do the jobs they are doing. I will happily drive 50 miles to another Subaru dealership as to avoid this one again. More
