Having told customer service on last week that I will bring my 2009 honda pilot for 'tune up' service on 12/29/11 and that I would be in about 11:00 a.m.; and to go for service on 12/29/11 ( live over 25 bring my 2009 honda pilot for 'tune up' service on 12/29/11 and that I would be in about 11:00 a.m.; and to go for service on 12/29/11 ( live over 25 miles away)and they told me they did not have enough spark plugs to tune up my vehicle - is in my opinion poor service. Yes, they did say they called around but non could be gotten until the following day. They also said they would call me when it came in. My point is - I spent money on gas to travel a long distance only 2 be told , "the service department is out of spark plugs. We have 4 but your vehicle need 6. We called . . ., we want get anymore in until tomorow. I could call you when it arrives." I plan to use my percent off coupon, but I feel it should be even an additional discount, plus the coupon. Everything was as expected except for the price. I was quoted one price considerably lower than what it actually cost. The quote was old, but I never thought the price would fluctuate that much. During my visit we found a car my wife liked. I wanted to think on it and check it out further for a day or two but did finally sign a sales agreement after many hours. We came in with a vehicle to trade in that we were not very happy with and we had a very, very tight budget to work with. We were not expecting to but a car that day, we were just hoping to get an idea o very happy with and we had a very, very tight budget to work with. We left after purchasing a new car, with a payment that fit into our monthly budget and couldn't be happier to be out form under the other vehicle. The staff was professional, courteous, likeable, and most importantly, we felt like they were completely honest with us. We particularly appreciated the up-front and straightforward assistance from Mr. Godbout. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Stokes Honda and we will likely return in the future next time we need a new car. More
Prince was pretty darn awesome; he always returned my calls promptly, gave me personal attention, and put up with me being picky & finicky. I scheduled service for my accord over a week in advance because i wanted the console cover between the driver and passenger seat replaced. I wanted to give enough time so the part could be ordered and deli because i wanted the console cover between the driver and passenger seat replaced. I wanted to give enough time so the part could be ordered and delivered. I also needed an oil change and the battery replaced in my key. The main impetus, however, was the console cover replacement. After sitting for a few minutes, a service consultant came over to tell me that the console cover had not yet arrived at the service center. I would have GREATLY appreciated to be contacted ahead of time (i.e., the day before my scheduled appointment) so that i didn't have to waste my time with TWO service visits at Stokes within 1 month. I have a full-time job and two small children. Situations like this make one feel as though the dealer does not value my time. There should be a system to ensure that parts for requested service are there before a customer spends her valuable time taking time away from work and/or family and driving all the way to North Charleston. More
