I was completely ignored for the first 10 minutes. I understand that they were busy but a simple " Hello or someone will be with you shortly" would have been acceptable. The service is always quick and excellent. I had to take my CRV in for a recall and according to the notice sent it was going to take two+ hours. We bought a new 2012 Odyssey van on Saturday in Charleston, SC. We broke down on Monday in Covington, La. The dealer in Covington did not give out loaner/rental cars and would not take us 20 miles Charleston, SC. We broke down on Monday in Covington, La. The dealer in Covington did not give out loaner/rental cars and would not take us 20 miles away where we were staying. They said it was too far for them to go. We had to call an 83 yr. old man who just had hip replacement surgery to come get us that night. The Covington dealership said it was the catalytic converter and replaced it. We picked up the van Tuesday afternoon and headed back to Charleston, SC on Wednesday morning. We had not driven 300 miles when it broke down again doing the same thing as before. We made it to Dothan, Al to a Honda dealership. They gave us a rental car, paid for our motel room, and ended up giving us a rental car to take home. They said they would ship the van to us when they figured out what was wrong with it. The dealership in Dothan, Al. was awesome. I cannot say the same for the dealership in Covington, La. When we got home, Stokes Honda delivered us a rental car to use until we got our van back. This is the third vehicle we have bought from Stokes Honda and I do not feel it would be our last at this point. More

He is attentive to questions and /or concerns and also does follow through with answers—thus, demonstrating knowledge of H clarity of communication. Tony Ward's demeanor is both respectful and professional. He obviously enjoys his work and is enthusiastic about the fine qualities that Honda automobiles exhibit, yet discreetly refrains from being profuse, excessive, or overwhelming. For the above reason, working with Tony Ward during this recent business transaction resulted in less anxiety and consternation, which we know customers can incur when purchasing a vehicle. More
I have not been impressed by your service department. The last two service visits have been less than satisfactory. I almost contacted you all with the visit before last week's service. At that visit, the girl was rude....somewhat condescending, I would say. My tires did not get rotated as I requested and I was rushed. Last week's visit was somewhat better although I had to wait when I came in. Both service managers were attending to paperwork with no customer visibly waiting. At checkout, I had to wait while another customer's paperwork was completed even though I had been called that everything was ready. There is room for a lot of improvement. More
I LOVE the fact that I got 0% financing and defintiely couldn't pass up the offer. Cliff was great, though he said he was just getting back into it after not working for a while, so he did seem a little r couldn't pass up the offer. He was really nice though and seemed amused by my excitement of buying my first new car! I told Jesse this when I was in his office, but I did feel a lot of pressure to add the additional insurance, warranty, etc, and I didn't like that. Instead of presenting it as an option, it was presented as "you are choosing not to protect your investment if you don't do it", and I don't want to be made feel guilty if I choose not to get the other options. I did end up getting some and Jesse gave me a good price, which I appreciated, but that was something I wasn't expecting and would have preferred a little less pressure about. I was also disappointed that I only got $300 for my trade-in, as I felt it was worth much more, despite the mileage. I tried to negotiate but felt it wasn't an option because they kept telling me I was getting 0% financing and that was the best deal. While I realize that, that doesn't mean that I don't want to get the best trade-in value on my old car. Overall, however, I am in love with my new CR-V, and had a good experience buying my car, despite how nervous I was about it all. I am pumped about having no finance charges for 5 years and plan to pay it down well within the time frame. Thanks Stokes Honda! More
