My overall experience at Stokes Honda was a week of xxxx. With that being said, I was very pleased with my Sales Associate Ric Marvin. He was pleasant to talk to and very friendly. He's wasn't pushy.Now maybe he's just that good of sales person that I fell into that trap but I do feel that he did take time with us. He was very patient with my husband and I. I would recommend him to anyone. I wasn't pleased with how the financing process worked. I worked with JD in financing. At first he was very abrasive and some what rude but he then opened up and relaxed. He became easy to talk to and in the end we got along well. I didn't like that I was able to drive off the lot with the new car not knowing whether or not I could even get the vehicle. Sure enough three days later I received the phone call that they were not able to get me in my payment range they said they could. Although that was worked out, I feel like they thought I was just going drive this car, love this car, and pay whatever number they told me. That is not good customer service. It is very misleading and very wrong. I feel there was a lot of unnecessary trips to Stokes Honda. I was at Stokes Honda 2/20, 2/22, 2/23, 2/25, 2/28, and 2/29. I think I spent more time at Honda in a week than I did in my own home. This was my first time buying a car from Stokes Honda but not my first time buying a car. My first car was purchased as used from Rick Hendrick Honda. Now yes, it was a long process but it only took one day and it was a done deal. I didn't go back numerous times and that car was used. I purchased a new car from Stokes Honda. The vehicle had to be detailed twice and the vehicle had to be painted due to scratches on the front bumper, driver side. I think the worst day out of the week at Stokes Honda was on 2/28 when I brought the car in to be painted. My sales rep was not there that day and I was suppose to meet with a guy named Andy. When Andy told me I was only here to let the paint and body look at the car and I would have to make an appointment and come back at another time, I was livid. When I expressed to him that I wasn't coming back again. He told me to wait in the lobby while he went to put gas in other random cars. At this point, I had to ask myself do I still want this car? Stokes Honda has irritated me to the point I wanted to give the keys back and say forget it. My husband has said he will never come back to Stokes Honda to buy another vehicle and unfortunately I feel the same way. The overall experience was a week of stress, axiety, and xxxx. I don't wish it upon anybody. More

The next day I went to remove the front license plate and there were holes in my Brand new cars bumper where some one in service put screws thought it.even though there was a factory installed bracket for the plate. A plate mind you that is NOT required in South Carolina. so... On my way back to the dealer to return the CRV. I noticed that the tint job on the front windows was scratched on both sides. xxx ...... I was sooooo ticked off. your sales team had their work cut out for them. and we came to an agreement. I drive a brand new CRV with holes in the bumper and scratched windows and I have bought 2 cars from stokes honda in 2 years and after this past experience they are the last . More

I felt rushed and misguided in an unfamiliar environment. I brought all the knowledge I was able to gain after 3months of research on this vehicle. I worked with artificially sincere salesperson and finance managers very skilled in their craft. I am glad I do not have to go through this experience for at least 10 years. I understand people in this environment are preoccupied with "closing" a deal however having the courtesy to acknowledge a page and letting the costumer know how soon to expect your attention will have improved my car buying experience. Purchased side molding for new Odessey over internet. Handeled very well by dealership even though there was a discrepancy in the charges from what was quoted installed on the internet. In December, we purchased a used Odyssey. We live in Savannah. As part of the purchase, there were items that were to be fixed. When we picked up the van a week after purchase, there were two items th Savannah. As part of the purchase, there were items that were to be fixed. When we picked up the van a week after purchase, there were two items that were not fixed: a leather seat was not repaired and there is a whistling noise once you hit 35MPH. On our way to VA the day after Christmas, we made special arrangements to stop in Charleston to have these two items fixed. Neither one was fixed in the 4 hours Stokes had the van. This past week, we again made the trip from Savannah to have these items addressed. We were originally told you would need the van for half a day. Come to find out, it was needed overnight. Stokes did give us a loaner car to drive back to Savannah and did bring the van to us in Savannah the next day. Awesome, much appreciated. The seat is fixed and looks great. However, it only took me a quarter mile of driving the van to know that there was no change in the whistling noise. Did anyone drive the van after they had worked on it? It's been 3 times now it was supposed to be fixed. I specifically told the salesperson I would not buy the van if the whistling noise could not be fixed. I'm wondering what the next step is and how we get this resolved. It's obviously not very convenient to get to Charleston during the work week.
