If you are considering purchasing a Hyundai product you might wish to consider a different brand and certainly not this dealership. Sales experience was fine with Steve Williams however the service departm might wish to consider a different brand and certainly not this dealership. Sales experience was fine with Steve Williams however the service department for warranty issues is horrible at best. I have a 2020 Palisade (junk car to be honest) that has experienced a CEL for well over a year now and the only solution to fix it is "Reset CEL, problem OK now". They must not teach their employees the definition of insanity so they keep doing the same things and expecting different results. Keep in mind that it takes over 2 months to get an appointment. Had the car in for the CEL (it still comes on, they didn't do anything to address it even though they lied on the invoice and said they replaced the gas cap. I had to purchase the new cap myself from the dealership in order to at least try something to make the CEL go away )and additional service and issues in late November 2022, one of them being a safety related issue with a rear passenger seatbelt buckle coming undone by itself randomly. They didn't have the part (of course) and Brad Dean tells me it should be available in 3-5 days. It is now Late January 2023 and not a peep from them. I contacted Hyundai Customer Care and filed a complaint case for all these issues that go unresolved and explained how consumers are being screwed on warranty items due to 2 month waiting times for an appointment. It looks like Hyundai USA also does not seem to care about the potential lawsuit coming to all parties involved if someone is injured in a car with defective seatbelt buckles. Maybe they forgot about the Firestone Tire issues years ago on the Fords? Stay clear of this dealership and brand if you want quality service and a safe reliable vehicle. This Palisade now has so many recalls and accumulated issues that I have asked my wife to just park it, leave the keys in it in hopes it gets stolen, and I will go buy her something new and different. I have an appointment for February scheduled but my expectations are very low that anything will be addressed. More
Arthur Johnson was by far the best salesman we have every worked with when buying a vehicle. He was polite upon first meeting and never once pressured us into a purchase. I never leave reviews normally, but this one had to be written. Run far away from this service department. The dealership was also upfront on their end, saying that I would get reimbursed if I were to fin written. Run far away from this service department. The dealership was also upfront on their end, saying that I would get reimbursed if I were to find my own car rental because they were unable to provide me with a car rental until Monday when I had to work over the weekend. I originally had my car brought in for a service light and to do the repairs related to the recall for the ABS wiring. The car was still under 100% warranty this entire time. Originally, they stated the catalytic converter was bad, so I paid for a system cleaning and new spark plugs and they would replace the catalytic converter under warranty. Then we had to wait for the catalytic converter to come in. Queue the lies. First their story was that when they were removing the old catalytic converter, one of the bolts wouldn’t come loose so they had to cut it off and while doing that, they cut the turbocharger and it had to be replaced. Next time they contacted me, they told me that the catalytic converter had caused the turbocharger to go bad and they didn’t know until they got in there that they needed to replace it. So then we had to wait for the new turbocharger part to come in. I had no control over how long the parts take to come in or how timely the shop is. Regardless of whatever reason, both of the parts they had to replace should’ve been (and were) covered under warranty. I had no control over the fact that I didn’t have a car for almost a month and that it took the hyundai shop that long to repair and return my vehicle to me. They, including the sales manager, refused to reimbursement me. They sent me on a wild goose chase with Hyundai telling me that they were the ones who would reimburse me for the rental, not them, and then I received the same story from Hyundai. I paid $1400 for my rental car for the month that I had my rental vehicle, and in the end, Hyundai refused my claim stating that the job was a "hour long fix" and it didn't qualify. I finally just gave up out of frustration. I’m not sure what’s going on at the St. Charles Hyundai dealership and I will NEVER be taking my car back there, and you shouldn't either. Highly recommend Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood. More

We all know that buying a car can be very frustrating with pushy sales people that try to sell you a car you don't need. The experience with Andreas was totally different. Had a pleasant experience at St. Charles Nissan but ultimately ended up purchasing from their sister dealer Hyundai and was also pleased.
