My Jeep broke dow less than 2 weeks after bringing it in for a recall on a battery repair. I left it at the dealership to find out what is wrong. Been over a week and have heard nothing even though have tried calling. My wife & I have purchased multiple vehicles from Southern but this is the last. They failed to properly fix the initial issue, forcing me to bring my car back multiple times. *Poor communication- I had an appointment on the 5th of December at 8:30 AM, when I got there I was informed th to bring my car back multiple times. *Poor communication- I had an appointment on the 5th of December at 8:30 AM, when I got there I was informed that it would take up to 72 hours before I would get a diagnostic of the issue. If I would have been informed that I would have to leave my vehicle there I would have made plans on get back to work. The staff was very dismissive and unhelpful when I asked questions about the repairs needed. I was informed that I needed to change out the thermostat and that I had a slight oil leaks coming from the valve cover, I paid for the repair, !,200. I DIDN’T have any oil leaks before I took my car to be repaired but after that repair was completed I spotted oil leaks on my driveway. I believe it was a failure to fix the original problem. *Lack of transparency- I returned to the dealership to get it rectified and they said that the oil leak is coming from my oil pan gasket and it would be another $1,200 to get it repaired. The service clerk said it may have been caused when they did the first repair. Essentially, I felt like they were taken advantage of me and not properly informed throughout the repair process. More
