Salesman was great. They have a mandatory package for every car that increases the cost by $1600+ VA’s ridiculous $899 admin fee (one of the highest in the nation.) It is not mandatory to charge people the $899, but the law says you can charge up to $899, so why not gouge your customers? Whatever the sticker price is, or whatever you think you're gonna talk them down to, add another $2500 and that's what you'll pay. More

Rafeek was on top of things when he found my car remote key battery needed to be replaced. Our Acura has a problem. Our brand new battery keeps draining. The shop first said Nov 3, 2023, it was probably a defective battery. Then they said they could not identify any cause as the battery was fine. Then the invoice showed they found a problem with the battery, but they said that was incorrect & reprinted the invoice. They had no answer for their mistake. They also were supposed to replace the windshield wipers but they did not have a rear wiper in their stock so replaced only the front ones. We were there way too long & disappointed that they gave poor service. More

I purchased 2022 MDX with A-Spec® Package from Hall Acura Newport News a couple of years ago. My overall dealership (sales and service) experience had moments of good and bad, as nothing is perfect. I had to Newport News a couple of years ago. My overall dealership (sales and service) experience had moments of good and bad, as nothing is perfect. I had to engage management when things did not go well or meet my expectations. The Service Manager, Brett W. handled my concerns when the incorrect color roof rails were installed and provided a resolution. I recently learned the dealership is no longer under Hall (Mile One) and now Southern Acura. Upon taking my car in for its oil change service, I was advised the Hall Rewards could not be used and the lifetime perks that Southern Acura advertises does not apply for customers who purchased a vehicle from Hall. I chatted with the General Sales Manager (Darrius Y.) while waiting on my car and he told me to attain the perks, I would need to purchase a new vehicle. Unfortunately, the 2024 MDX has not changed much from 2022, so it would not be in my best interest to get a new one just like it. I have no interest in the other Acura models. It may be a little inconvenience, but I will need to take my car to Hall Acura VA Beach to utilize my Hall Rewards and interact with a dealership who can fully see all of my 2022 MDX history. More
