I purchased a used car today at Sons Acura. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I am very picky and went on a lot of test drives but my sales person Bruce was so patient. I purchased a Certified Acura TSX from Sons as an upgrade from a Honda Civic. They had a great selection of used Acura's and I was able to find one that met all of my specific requirements. I had an awful experience with Sons Acura. I bought a 2004 Acura TL used and three days after I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on. There was a sensor that needed to be replaced and they 2004 Acura TL used and three days after I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on. There was a sensor that needed to be replaced and they agreed to fix it. After that it was the power steering pump which they agreed to replace. After 2 months I had to replace the brakes. The car was barely driven so how did they even let it come off the lot like that. After doing some further inspection in the engine bay and taking a closer look at the front bumper alignment I noticed the car had been hit. They told me the car had never been hit and of course the carfax was clean. The final straw was the transmission blew out on me on a trip to the beach and I was left stranded. I've never heard of an Acura transmission going out with such low mileage. This car was obviously a lemon and I can't believe a credible dealership would sell something like this. It was stupid for me to trust this dealership that the car was clean and what they said it was. Now I am stuck with a huge bill and they wont offer anything to help fix the issue besides spending more money on a new Acura. More

Was sold a used car and requested the car fax before I closed the deal. It showed nothing out of the ordinary. I asked everybody at the dealership if the car had been wrecked or pained, and they all told closed the deal. It showed nothing out of the ordinary. I asked everybody at the dealership if the car had been wrecked or pained, and they all told me no. Found out after I bought the car it had frame damage. Returned the car and they claimed they didn't know anything about it. However, the autocheck that I was given indicated they knew about the car when they bought it from an auction. Said they would make me whole, but only gave the money back on the car, and not accounting for the $1700 I lost in equity when I traded in my car. Had to accept an over priced Acura TL that I didn't want. Said they would have to take the other car to an auction and get rid of it "now that they know it has frame damge". That same car ended up back on their used car lot the next day and was sold a few days later. A friend of mine called to inquire about the car and he was told to come look at it, that it was a "clean" car. Pretty sad! More

I went to three dealerships in the area before ending up at Sons - while they did not have the vehicle I was looking for, they were the only ones willing to work with me in order to find what I wanted withi at Sons - while they did not have the vehicle I was looking for, they were the only ones willing to work with me in order to find what I wanted within my budget. Asthin was excellent - he was respectful and created a comfortable environment - at no point did I feel pressured to make a decision I was not happy 100% with. I appreciated both Ashtin and Mike's honesty and transparency throughout the entire process - something I think is hard to find in this industry! More
