We got in finance the next day and they had the financing completed through the only place we asked not to run it through. Second. The typical back and forth with xx numbers. We dont play the number game with dealers. Third. We asked for a personalized plate that is my wife's favorite to be transferred to the truck. It was on her last 3 trucks. When we got there a different plate was already on the truck. They ended up putting hers on before we left. The paperwork said we paid for a transfer. They failed to fill in the plate info in on the paperwork. The Notary feels it was left blank on purpose since they do thousands of registrations and they didnt seem to want to accommodate. We let them know about the plate before the deal was even made. Thats how important it was to my wife. After 2.5 months of driving the truck we found out from the state that Solomon botched the paperwork and the plate is listed as dead with Pennsylvania. The local notary could not help and said the dealer had to straighten it out. She is driving with no registration on a brand new truck. I submitted the form through their website asking for it to be fixed weeks ago. No call, no text, no email back. You submit on that form looking fo a vehicle or service and you are receiving a response in minutes. Apparently not when you have an issue. Now it is going to cost money to get her another personalized plate and she can't get that one since they messed it all up. I have done almost 2000 google reviews and had over 2.5 million photo views. I normally dont leave 1 star reviews but this whole process irritated us so much that it warrants this review. Now we just found out they registered a 3/4 ton truck as a 1/2 ton. More
Worst dealership award go to this place. They knew for hours I was traveling 4 hours to look at this truck and we get there and it was still dirty. Sketchy salesman Bob tried to throw $750 on top of the sales price for the truck being certified and for detailing the truck. Then made a fake phone call to the finance manager to see if it was okay if he took it off to make it look like I was getting a "good deal". The owner Normon must be on a power trip. He's disrespectiul to customers and makes snotty remarks. He says he has the best pricing within 750 miles. Probably explains why the truck has been sitting on the lot for 2 months. Low xxxxx trades and tries to talk your trade down. More then happy to drive 4 hours back home then buy anything from this clown. More
Our experience went ok. The vehicle we wanted to see was not at the lot when we got there as the owner was driving it. They acted like they were going to give us a great deal because of this along with the 200 miles he put on the “new” car. By the end of it there was no longer a great deal. The salesman added a “paint protection” as he said “they had to make money off it too”. I agreed to this thinking I was still getting a great deal and who wouldn’t want to have extra protection on their brand new black vehicle. The vehicle was listed lower online. The salesmen had me sign a paper which is my fault for not looking at what I was signing but basically once in financing I realized the “great deal” we were supposed to get was no longer great but that I had already signed whatever paper so that’s what I was getting. Even the finance guy checked to make sure this paint protection was added at this point because I was questioning the price and the salesmen said yes. When speaking rates, they told us it would be in the high 8s which is insane as my husband and I have 800+ scores. I went online and found BOA had a lower rate. I applied and of course got approved not far from their best rate to which the dealership could now match that rate. Funny. The best part of it is, our friend does detailing and looked at this “paint protection” they added…. that he swears they didn’t actually add. Overall I’m happy with my vehicle but this experience made me realize I really need to see what I’m signing and that “great deals” aren’t always great for me but more so the dealership. I may have had a better experience at a different dealership but the vehicle I was looking for was hard to find and they happened to have it so here I am. More

I have purchased several vehicles in the past, and I my experience with Solomon Ford and Matt Banai was incredible. At other dealerships, I would spend 4+ hours waiting for paperwork or delays. Matt was very attentive and the whole process took less than an hour and a half including the test drive. I am a business owner, and I would love to have employees as professional and diligent as Mr. Banai and the staff at Solomon Ford. More
