I have had a horrible experience with Solomon Ford Dealership in Brownsville, PA. I was interested in purchasing a brand new vehicle and the sales manager was completely unreasonable when it came to Dealership in Brownsville, PA. I was interested in purchasing a brand new vehicle and the sales manager was completely unreasonable when it came to breaking my purchase price down to the monthly payment. They refuse to look at my partnership plan through my place of employment. The sales consultant was honestly trying to make the sale but his manager kept interrupting our conversation telling me to “not to worry with the numbers because they will look big on paper”. He acted like we were stupid when my fiancé and I both have degrees in business. The sales manager only wanted to talk numbers in the sales parking lot and not on paper. We went home empty handed and inquired for them to send us a break down. The sales manager called us with a new monthly payment and wanted us to agree to it without showing us anything. He said here’s your break down; give me X dollars and your trade in and your monthly payment will be X dollars. I said that’s all fine and well but I’m not going to agree with anything until I see it broken down and I’m not giving you a free vehicle. He gave me 45 minutes to call back and agree with the new monthly payment or the offer was over or I could give him some money to hold the offer until Monday. I said “Don’t worry about it because we are done here!” He then proceeded to tell me to never step foot on his lot again! Is this how you treat your customer? I just wanted information on where this payment was coming from and he refused. I expected this type of behavior from a used car lot but not a Ford Dealership! After this experience, I don’t believe we will buy Ford. I would rather deal with Dodge or Chevy. More
I purchased a new 2012 Escape and a 2010 Focus in early 2012. Everything was going well until I had a problem with my tires on the Focus. After having the car for only 6000 miles the service department to 2012. Everything was going well until I had a problem with my tires on the Focus. After having the car for only 6000 miles the service department told me they were bad. They told me there is nothing they could do for me, it was my fault. Tires do not go bad after 6000 miles if there in not something wrong with the car. I call Ford and they told me that tires are wear itmes and are not covered by any warranty. I went as far a s I could go in Ford and got no help. They offered to replace the 4 tires at half of there cost but they would never give me a price. Please stay awat from this dealership. Go to Davies in Charleroi or C. Harper in Belle Vernon. More
emailed the dealership letting them know what car i was interested in, and that I was inquiring about the internet price. no response from them, either phone, email or even when i went to look at the cars. interested in, and that I was inquiring about the internet price. no response from them, either phone, email or even when i went to look at the cars.I know that they received my request, i received an "automatic reply" i went as far as to let them know when i was coming. I was the only customer on the lot for 35 minutes, looking around the cars, there is no way a salesperson didn't see me. They still work on commission, don't they? I did all the leg work, this was a done deal, I went there to buy a car, I saw the car on the lot that was on the internet. I will go elsewhere. If they can't bother to sell me the car, what is their service like after the sale? More
