Misdiagnosis a lot of problems and still charges you. They are more of a trial and error work shop hoping to fix the problem. My car still has the same problem. They are more of a trial and error work shop hoping to fix the problem. My car still has the same problem. More
I wouldn't recommend going for state inspection. Last year, they just changed the oil and didn't inspect wheels and break conditions. Had they did it, I would have saved at least $800. Right fron Last year, they just changed the oil and didn't inspect wheels and break conditions. Had they did it, I would have saved at least $800. Right front door lock system motor was broken while the vehicle was in warranty and I mentioned this them in the visits, they just ignored it, but when I took the vehicle in the last visit, they mentioned that it is broken and is out of warranty and I had to pay at least $450 to get it replaced. I do get manager discount, but what is the use of it? VW Jetta service is pricy too when it is equivalent to Corolla daily commuter vehicle. More

Jacob was very helpful throughout the process of renewing my lease. He listened to what I said I wanted as far as a monthly payment and features in the car and made it happen. I don't even know where to start here - but I guess I'll start by saying that it's too bad I had to leave even 1 star for my review because I wanted to leave none. I've been leasing VWs for 9+ years now ( start by saying that it's too bad I had to leave even 1 star for my review because I wanted to leave none. I've been leasing VWs for 9+ years now (this is my third car) and never before have I had such a horrific experience prior to this year. My lease was up & I went to trade in my Jetta SEL. I knew I wanted a Jetta, but was not sure which trim I wanted. I was willing to go down a trim if it would save me money, but would not compromise on two things 1) Auto start & 2) heated seats. I walked into the dealership & Bart Mandaro basically attacked me when I was already talking with another sales guy (that should have been hint enough right there). I communicated CLEARLY!!!! my two non-negotiable things I would not compromise on. Perfect. I also asked for the numbers on financing my current vehicle. He asked me why? I stated, "I really like the color of the exterior/interior of my car" and his response was, "Oh, like every other white girl on Long Island." I almost choked & fell through the floor. Who said I was white??? How do you know I'm not adopted???? That my friends aren't white???? Do you actually have a brain between your ears???? I have NEVER in my ENTIRE LIFE been so DISGUSTED! I don't care what this dealership has to say - there is nothing - I repeat, NOTHING, you can do to come back from a comment this insane. I should have gotten up & walked out then, but I didn't & trust me, I am still kicking myself now. It was horrifying. I was embarrassed for him & was hoping that nobody else heard that obscene comment. He shows me a Jetta S (Sport), says I cannot test drive the car, but I would need to anyway because that's all that the dealership has that fits my 'requirements' (he meant financial). I want to add: these were not requirements & were always negotiable. I was very open about this. I had what are called PREFERENCES. This man had an agenda to sell this car (I went on a holiday weekend) and never showed me anything else. Long story short - signed the lease, and low & behold... there's no auto-start. I went back the next day. I asked where the autostart was & handed him the key. He looked at the key like I was handing him a tube of lipstick (clueless). Buddy, you work at a dealership - learn your product if you're going to be selling it, or at least be willing to look through the inventory WITH me (he never gave me the time of day - again, he had an agenda to sell THAT trim). I told him, I've leased VWs before - in the app, you can blatantly see if a car has remote start or not & this car does not. He took the key & said, "okay, let me go check" & walks outside to where I am parked (sure, maybe if YOU try it will work). Nothing. He speaks to his manager, Michael Calabrese, and they tell me they would offer to install the remote start for me, but VW has "none in stock" - which I know is false (both then & now - I checked online inventory). Bart finished that conversation off by "reminding" me that "You cannot install it yourself because of lease contract agreements" - pretty sure that's the last thing I care about right now. I asked to speak to Bart's manager, Michael Calabrese, Bart agreed, but followed me over to his desk. During my conversation with Michael, he rolled his eyes at me. That was so cute & professional. There isn't much that can be done for me but as a warning to everyone else - do not lease or finance a vehicle from here. I wouldn't purchase a child's Barbie car from here. They will not be seeing/hearing the last of me - especially for the racist/sexist comment they made. (Side note: the finance department is pleasant & seems to be the only thing holding together since whoever purchased the dealership a year or so ago. The rest of it went to shambles). More
