Conartist! Was in touch with a salesman for about a week for an expedition max. The day before my family and I left for the beach, I made the 1.5 hr drive down Was in touch with a salesman for about a week for an expedition max. The day before my family and I left for the beach, I made the 1.5 hr drive down with hopes of bringing home a new vehicle (which I was told I could do so). I get about 15 minutes away and I’m told that the one vehicle wasn’t there, ok whatever there’s still more I wanted to look at. I wanted used and that was made clear. I pull in, the ONLY expedition max available was bran new. Also was promised my husband (working late and far away) and father (just had surgery) didn’t have to be present to sign anything she could give me paperwork and I could put it in the mail before we left. Upon arrival I’m met in the parking lot we went inside and talked. She informed me none of the vehicles I wanted to look at weren’t even there! So why was it so crucial I get there and why was I promised I could leave in a new vehicle?? She really tried to push a new vehicle on me and then tried to get me to lease even tho I was against both. She said she had a nice vehicle for me and she needed to get it. She was right it was an extremely nice vehicle but I was against another Chevy. When the man who took my vehicle to check it out and get me a trade-in value, I watched him punch my dash at amongst other things that just didn’t seem normal at all. We had the numbers ran it wasn’t anywhere near what I wanted at all. I called my husband he agreed to it so I tried to move forward then she kept trying to push for money down even tho I had a trade in. She brought me the paper with the numbers and she deducted what they were giving me for my vehicle added a bunch of taxes then added the total payoff and raised a price. The math didn’t make sense and I wanted a better rate, 8% no thank you. :She proceeded to say the banks weren’t open so they couldn’t get a realistic rate but she’s sure they can do better tomorrow and regardless my husband and/or dad needed to be there, even though she said otherwise numerous times. She knew we were leaving for vacation in a few hours said whatever she could to get us down there and wasted over half of my day! Before I even walked out, I had another dealership pulled up. I called them soon as I got in the car, explained what happened and was told come see us. The banks aren’t closed. She let me know that she would do whatever she could to get me in a new vehicle before they closed. Unfortunately, the vehicle that I wanted was at a a different lot, but I will be picking it up after vacation. I wasn’t sure if I just would’ve came there first if the lady had to she would’ve personally drove and picked up the vehicle for us to be able to take on vacation. I wouldn’t purchase anything from these people if they were giving it away free. Shults wasted 6 hours of my time for nothing! More

Service Advisor goes to my car, takes a look - clearly sees that antenna base is broken, says we need to order parts - so we fix a date on Saturday few weeks later so that when I came they all, including Antenna Base, are in place to repair... so yesterday, on Friday, I call Service Dept to confirm that the parts are in place - yes, says some lady manning the desk... I came this Saturday only to hear that the Service Advisor never ever ordered that Antenna Base ... the question is what kind of people Shultz hires ? no integrity, no customer care ... for the record, I am customer #395782, refer to invoice #FOCS64186 ... may be instead of spending money on ads you can spend money hiring proper employees More
Shults Ford was an extreme pleasure to work with. They treated us like family. They were able to put us into the perfect truck, and we plan on using them in the near future for another vehicle. 5 sta They treated us like family. Said I needed a complete new engine after 80,000 miles even though it is a Ford mechanical and design flaw that allows antifreeze to cycle back into the engine and completely destroy it. Not only that but when I took the car in it was running decent when I picked it up it was absolutely horrible. I have no idea what they did to it. I have used this dealership for over ten years and last 2 new vehicle purchases and always give a five star rating for sales. But this time I give service dept a minus. I came out with non working vehicle. F new vehicle purchases and always give a five star rating for sales. But this time I give service dept a minus. I came out with non working vehicle. First they tried to charge me full price for the warranty issue I took it for. I also needed my remote start reprogrammed after changing key fob battery. Instead they charged me 100 dollars diagnostic fee and wanted another 300 for battery cable and connector plus me to purchase a new battery. My husband is a mechanic and I only take to service dept when it is a warranty issue or needing a program that only Ford has. My husband had it on scanner twice this past 2 weeks before taking it in and the only thing needed was the evape purge value under warranty. I figured I would have it programmed so my remote start would work again since it stopped last winter after I got a new battery in key fob. But somehow their scanner shows a problem. So they tell me the remote start problem is the battery cable and connector being corroded and breaking and I need a new battery. Two months ago I bought a new platinum 5 year warranty battery and my husband cleaned the cables and had no broken connector and I have had no problems with my battery or vehicle starting. So somehow I went in with running vehicle and now needed to jump start it to get it out of there. They somehow managed to short out and ruin my battery. They wanted 300 to replace my cable and connector and and said I needed new battery. I guess if I were not a wife of a mechanic I would of had no choice but to pay another 500 dollars or more to drive off the lot. And now I have to hope when they shorted my battery out that they also didn’t ruin my alternator. So now i have to jump start it to get it to my garage, spend about 50 bucks to replace my battery cable and connector and have the battery replaced, then pray they didn’t damage anything else. I guess I will just enjoy my vehicle without my remote start and cut my loses before it costs me more. oh and also after questioning my bill and seeing they never applied my coupon off the cashier walked into the service area unknowing my husband was standing there and stated she needed a drink after dealing with me. I guess she only likes people that pay their bill and don’t question it when they are leaving with a broken down vehicle. Never been this disappointed in this dealership until now. I am the one that needs the drink. Only positive was my sales adviser was very nice and stated to call him if remote start still did not work. More
Bought a used car, was told it would be ready in a day to go through shop, told the next day they had to wait on parts and it would be delivered, told the next day that the service was done and getting detai go through shop, told the next day they had to wait on parts and it would be delivered, told the next day that the service was done and getting detailed and then was called again to say they were waiting for a part that wouldn’t be in until the following week. Shouldn’t list a vehicle if it isn’t ready and shouldn’t expect their customers to jump through hoops just to get their end of the month quota fulfilled. The part they are waiting for is available from any auto store but they use that it’s because it’s not a “Ford” as the reason for the wait!
