I walked in about 70% set on buying, but wasn't sure which model- had 3 in mind from my online searches (Forte, Optima, Sonata). The place was very clean, and all employees were friendly and eager to help me. My sales rep took his time to answer each question about each model clearly. He explained the whole process and was very straight-forward with me about everything. I appreciate that above all! They never pushed me to make a choice or leave even though it was close to the end of business hours. That was also very releiving! They got me in the car I wanted for the right price, then stayed late to finish my paperwork. The whole process was less stressful than I anticipated- and I'm satisfied with my car, the terms, the service, and the dealership as a whole. I'm looking forward to enjoying the white 2010 Kia Forte I chose, and to them taking care of the maintenance (bought that package & stayed in my budget)! Thanks to all involved!! ~B More

Shannon deserves 5 Stars Plus. He listened to what my needs were and came up with the perfect KIA for me. He gave instructions on how to work all the gadgets, and I went back on the second day and he wen needs were and came up with the perfect KIA for me. I am 72 years old and it takes me a while to get with the program. Shannon introduced me to the service manager which I don't think in all my years of purchasing an auto a salesman has done that. It was recommended that I contact Antonio by someone who had previously bought a car from him. I found Antonio to be very honest and easy to work with. We went into SM Kia looking for a new car. We originally went to look at the Sorentos. Once we sat down with Thomson, we started talking about the price range of what we could afford each month. The Soren went to look at the Sorentos. Once we sat down with Thomson, we started talking about the price range of what we could afford each month. The Sorentos were out of that price range, so he suggested the Optima to us. He went a got an Optima for my husband to test drive. My husband fell in love with it. Thomson was very helpful and made sure that we were getting what we wanted in a car. He wasn't pushy and he worked with us to make sure that we could afford a nice car that we would enjoy. All of the salesmen were friendly and made us feel welcome in the dealership. Thomson called me 2 days later to check and see how I was liking the new car and to make sure that I knew to call if I had any questions or concerns at any point in time. More
TO was tremendously easy to work with. Although he really wanted us in a new car, when I stayed on track with the used vehicle we had seen on-line, he got right on board, presented the car and worked really wanted us in a new car, when I stayed on track with the used vehicle we had seen on-line, he got right on board, presented the car and worked with Chin to get us the deal we were after. Initially, Chin did as expected and proposed a ridiculously high interest rate but in the end he turned out to be a stand-up guy. Not only did he make a phone call to secure an acceptable rate but then followed up the next business day (on his day off) to ensure that the financier did as promised. Mark was low-key and we appreciated the distinct lack of pressure to do things we didn't want to do. As with TO and Chin, he didn't initially offer us an advantageous price for the warrantee we purchased. However, he finally did lower it to an acceptable level that we could afforf to add to the price of the car without going broke. The dealership moved our tags from the old to the new car without our even knowing that it was going on. We really appreciated not having to worry about that. The next business day they filled the tank and detailed it throughout. And, although I had to ask, which was somewhat disappointing, the dealership did pony up for both keys and fobs without additional charge. All in all, I am very happy with Shawnee-Mission Kia and have already recommended it to several friends and family members. More

Chen in the prefinancing stage was looking out for my best interest and making sure it was something I could afford. He is not like the rest of the dealership when it comes to financing, he wants to be fair and give you a good price on your vehicle and make sure the payment is what you feel comfortable with. Thank you Chen for finding me 5% less then what I was paying and helping this experience to be a positive one. Mark in financing was a big help with getting my insurace stuff faxed to and from Shelter and making the closing as painless and fast as possible. Thank you Mark!
