I moved very slowly in purchasing a car due to getting busy at work. I found Kia to be the best in comfort, style and price with many options included in the base price that were extra with the other brands. I was pre-shopping online Monday, February 28th and selected between 2-vehicles but wanted to speak with Nick Dudaj the next day to check on availablity and prices of each. He was so personable and helpful and when the first vehicle was no longer available, took the time to answer my questions about the 2nd one. I was not satisfied with the pricing on the used Sportage knowing the new ones were available he immediately stayed with me and we switched over to new sales. I had already test driven KIA Sorento and the Sportage, knew the 2011's had to be even better and felt I received excellent service from Nick. I knew why my brother-in-law recommended him to me when time came for me to retire my sweet 2000 KIA Spectra that had 116,000+ miles! I am recouping from surgery, not able to drive yet and the sale of my new 2011 Sportage was pain free! God bless Nick for his hard work and expediting the process as I was not able to sit around and the old proverbial "haggle" with the sale, he took care of me as if I was family. It meant the world to me and I went home with my daughter driving the new KIA and thought I was in a limo. So smooth a ride and my back was tired but well positioned in the passenger side. What a great vehicle! Nick handed me over to Mike Vannattan and he was knowledgeable on the finance side and though I had to go home due to medical problems, we set a date for me to come back in and finalize the paper work. When my ride fell through because he was in the hospital and waiting to go into surgery, I called Mike in a panic (it was his cell phone number as it was his day off) and he remained calm, his mannerisms calmed me and he assured me things would get done. I would have never expected that he would go to the KIA dealership, get my package, and come to my home so that I was kept safe, out of the rain and bitter cold. Mike went way above the call of duty and such a fine man to take my health needs into considerationwhile we conducted the final papers and I wrote out the check, purchasing my beautiful new baby! God bless Mike as well for being such a kind man and an excellent representative of Shawnee Mission KIA. Those two men need to be the focus of their next commercial, because they are truly what KIA stands for. It isn't so much about "having to meet a sale" but they go beyond and give personal service to the clients. A totally awesome experience for a 31 years practicing RN who was severely injured while working and had to have surgery! Could they have been given someone young and healthy and not so demanding who educated herself and KNEW what she wanted and how much she would pay? I am totally amazed by the whole transaction! Great men, great service and then I get to meet Mark!!! Stay with me as I tell you why the financial guru completed what needed to be done, expedited the completion and I had my tank filled, my paperwork in hand and thoroughly smiled as I drove away. That gentlemen is how KIA wants everyone to experience their vehicles. It doesn't hurt that they are gorgeous men and very articulate, they would be great on a commercial! Trust me! 2006 Kia Spectra brought in to have transmission adjusted after new parts put in; they destroyed the new parts by not removing correctly (why use a pry bar on something that if removed correctly just pops ou after new parts put in; they destroyed the new parts by not removing correctly (why use a pry bar on something that if removed correctly just pops out) & then proceeded to charge us 3x's the quoted amount. Parts were placed in the vehicle which then had to be detailed by your facility; we took the parts to another Kia dealership service & they confirmed we were not given quality service. This makes 2 trips to your facility where service was far below acceptable. This is why we are giving you such low marks. Our son, who is Army Reservist deployed purchased this vehicle, will not be back to your dealership to purchase his next car; nor will we. We found the service and sales departments to be severely lacking in skill, customer service skills and knowledge of products. Be assured that we will be telling everyone we know to avoid your dealership as will all the members of our extensive family. One good customer may tell of his experience to a friend or 2; a disgruntled customer will tell everyone they see. More

We are more than thrilled to have been paired with Begi to find our new car. She was upbeat, kind and diligent in our hunt to find a car in our price range.
