Dealership responded immediately to inquiry and setup a test drive next day. Vehicle info and carfax emailed before test drive. Asked to talk numbers and requested the out the door price. Salesman said he had a few hundred dollars of room to negotiate. Returned with offer sheet that was thousands above the list price with junk fees. Offer required $800 for Resistall paint coating the was not previously disclosed and could not be removed since it had been “already” applied to paint. After an hour of back and forth made a deal for list price plus $700 “dealer fees”—$800 Resistall, $500 GPS tag, and $2500 extended warranty were removed from offer. Came back 4 days later to pick up car and was given the keys and a thanks. Had to request a copy of the documents. Dealer required $500 deposit until transaction was complete, had to ask for it to be returned. Car was supposed to be detailed, it wasn’t. Seat belt buckle cover required repair, it wasn’t done as promised. However, Finance manager had contacted me three times before pick up to make sure I had payment secured, that tells you their priorities. I complained about receiving a dirty car, was told I could bring it by another day for a cleaning, I live 90 minutes away, not happening. Manager offered to fill gas tank if I returned for detail, declined not worth the hassle, but still annoyed. I’m happy with the car despite dealer not following through on promises, felt it was a fair price in this market, still haven’t seen anything better. Staff is nice but they are too busy and have too many people involved in deals to take care of all the details. Will look elsewhere for next purchase. More
