Challenging task done well Thanks to Blair Mapp and Shaker’s support team, we’ve put over 1,500 pleasant miles (1,300 of them towing our 5th wheel travel trailer) on a truck new Thanks to Blair Mapp and Shaker’s support team, we’ve put over 1,500 pleasant miles (1,300 of them towing our 5th wheel travel trailer) on a truck new to us. Blair listened to our story (we’re from North Carolina, “just passing through” Connecticut), quizzed us on our needs, drew on his expertise, surveyed the available inventory, arranged good financing … all within a couple hours. Then, when our trailer’s unique characteristics unexpectedly disqualified the candidate truck, Blair soon identified our current truck, not as flashy but very suitable and at a significantly lower price. He patiently accommodated our crazy schedule, with grace & humor. All this in a sales room (which we generally don’t like) with pleasant folk, competent staff (especially Cindy Bugbee who cheerfully & competently navigated us through the mountains of paperwork). The bottom line is that the entire experience was consistent with the unanimous responses we got to the question “where’s a good Ford dealer”.
