Overall, easy process The only reason this was not 5 star is that. I had to go back twice to sign paperwork that was forgotten or had the wrong date originally. The Sewickley sales staff had expert knowledge of all the specs and various packages available. The transaction was easy, pricing fair and without the usual dealer pushing of dubious extras. We really enjoyed working with Martin as he was exceptionally patient despite being very busy at times. I would highly recommend Sewickley Audi mainly for the experience of the staff, knowledge of these quality German cars and clear desire to meet the customers needs. More
TERRIFIC. WOW! I wanted an A4 sedan, manual transmission, in any silver, gray, or the moonlight blue metallic color. Sewickley only had white, which I test drove I wanted an A4 sedan, manual transmission, in any silver, gray, or the moonlight blue metallic color. Sewickley only had white, which I test drove. I asked them to look for colors other than white and they looked far and wide with no luck. I wasn't able to order a 2019 because Audi isn't offering a manual anymore for this model. I settled on the white. Martin Slotterback surprised me by having pinstripes on the car when I came to pick it up. He went to a lot of trouble to get that done. The pinstripes really set off the white color, and I am much more happy with it than I expected to be. Andrew Briggs really worked hard to find another color for me, even though he had no luck. I have dealt with Sewickely Porsche for about 10 years, and Sewickley Audi is as good as Porsche, maybe even better. Highly recommend them to anyone considering an Audi. More

Despite my indecision on options and colors, Martin was exceptionally patient and professional and kept me up-to-date from start-to-finish. The night I took delivery of my new vehicle, Martin stayed in the dealership showroom for 60 - 90 minutes past closing time to review all of the functions with me. His attitude was A+ at all times. When my wife finally decides to trade in her vehicle, I'll take her to Sewickley Audi / Martin. As a follow-up, prior to purchasing the Q5, I had done a good bit of research on pricing. I thought my deal was fair for both parties. Martin and Andrew were highly transparent. No complaints on price. My '3 Star Rating' below on Andrew is simply due to the fact that I had very minimal interaction with him. More
Is Sewickley Audi racist ??? I am a Sewickley resident, and believe strongly in supporting all of our local businesses. That said, I can no longer recommend Sewickley Audi, as th I am a Sewickley resident, and believe strongly in supporting all of our local businesses. That said, I can no longer recommend Sewickley Audi, as they do not represent the class and dignity of what makes Sewickley what it is. Maybe The Sewickley Car Store should pay their sales staff commission, like other auto dealerships. This might make for a better car buying experience for EVERYONE. The culture of this dealership is BELOW sub par. I attempted to purchase an R8 off of their show room floor, and they treated me as if I was there to rob the place. I never think of race, in any aspect of life, because I feel it has become an over used, and over hyped distraction in our current society, however I struggle to find the reason I was treated so poorly. On my first visit, I was barely acknowledged. Stupid me, returned to ask more questions about the car. On my second visit, I ran into a young, very engaging sales person named Jake. Nice person, who was truly passionate about the cars. He was such a breath of fresh air, that I almost forgot how I was initially treated. As we were discussing the car, I asked some specific questions about the service aspect of the car. A very nice young man named Brandon (a service advisor) joined in the conversation, in an attempt to help sell me the car. To my shock and dismay, the service manager, Matt Liggett came over and ripped into Brandon for talking to me. To say I was mortified would be an understatement. I left without further comment. That night, I purchased the R8 from another dealership. Let's just say I HIGHLY recommend the purchase and service of all Audi products, be done by Audi Pittsburgh. The experience is night and day!! Just like it's bad business to sell one seat to two passengers, it's bad business to take my deposit and in the middle of finalizing the deal sell it to the next guy thought the door. I don't know the legal ramification but will send a copy of all correspondences to the State AG, Congressman Rothfus and Doyle. Interstate commerce, fairness and good business are absent from the folks at this dealership, Sewickley Cars. Legal or not, its my opinion that Scott Ryan is unethical. Read on. You shouldn't be able to take a deposit on a car, actively engage in the sales process and then sell it to a "local" customer 17 hours after discussing shipping arrangements and Scott "sharpening his pencil" on his numbers to give me the final amount due. Is it even legal? It certainly is unethical. Here's what happened along with copies of the email exchange: I'm from Massachusetts. On Wednesday 4/5, while on business in Pittsburgh, I saw car that I wanted to buy. I called Martin at 3:45pm from the airport on my way home and he took a $500 deposit. We agreed on next steps. 4/7 I got home from my business trip on Friday and sent pics of my trade and title for a ball park appraisal. Martin worked with the people in his office to get me numbers. 4/8 Sat April 8th @ 3:28pm Martin sent the breakdown of the deal with trade and it looked pretty good. First issues was that they want to charge me PA tax and PA registration. (Being from MA, I need to pay MA tax and tags. ) The same email stated that "MA makes it tough to buy a car [from PA]" and if I want to finance "it's almost, if not impossible." I should pay cash. I replied saying to call me and lets talk live. "buying a car out of state isn't an issue" and that "we are close". 4/8 No contact from the dealership. 4/9 @4;44 I email them again and explain that "it's not hard to sell to MA, I don't pay taxes in PA, Ill pay MA, I won't put PA plates on it. I'll put MA on it. trade+cash+audi financial." 4/10 @ 9:30 Martin responses to my emails. Explained if Financing is involved, I'll need to be there and referred me to Scott Ryan the Used Card Sales Manger. Martin explained time frames, turn around times and delivers. 4/10 5:30 I called Scott Ryan to discuss financing. He explained and educated me on the need be there in person for signing the application. I hadn't experienced that but it made sense after he explained it. I told him getting back to Pitt one more time is no problem to sign paperwork. Then, I have several co-workers there that can pick up the car for me after the pates get there. I explain I have other cars and am in no rush on the turn around. I'l sign and friends will pick up or I'll call a shipping company to pick it up. We got off the phone and Scott agreed to look at his trade in values again to see what his best trade price could be and I was calling the local shipper to get prices too. We agreed to reconnect in the morning. 4/11 @ 9:17am Scott emailed with this: "Yesterday we spoke about the [2015] A8. [the car I had a $500 deposit on.] We had another client stop in to look at the A8 [that I had a deposit on] and he wanted to buy it. I spoke with the dealer principal/owner. Being that we had many hoops [?????] to jump through with MA registration and that you had a trade involved that we were also $2,500 away from a deal. The decision was made to sell the car. I apologize for any inconveniences. I will have Marty refund your deposit ASAP." When I circled back with Scott, this was his reply: "I understand you are upset, but we as a dealer needed to take the deal that was in front of us. Yes, you had a refundable deposit on the car, and yes, we were in "active negotiations" but the logistics/deal on the car were not finalized. [really?? They why take deposits at all?] We could not take the chance to turn down the buyer in our showroom for a deal that was still not agreed upon. These guys are clowns. Hey Scott, honesty is the best policy. More

However, their First, Martin is an exceptional sales rep with the understanding of true salesmanship with knowledge on new school sales strategies. However, their sales manager, Andrew has some customer service work to learn. As an educated consumer, he didn't seem to handle questions of a lease deal from me. His tone of voice was condescending and he does not appreciate an educated buyer. He asked why I was there if I saw some great deals at other dealerships. Kudos to Martin but unfortunately I won't lease a car from this dealership. My business was lost after my experience with Andrew. More

We bought our next Audi at Sewickley and never looked back. We have purchased 5 cars since then and have always been treated well. I am especially pleased with the service department. They treat me well, always do a great job and provide a loaner even though my car is out of warranty. I would never consider buying an Audi anywhere else. More
