Car smells of smoke. The car smelled of smoke when we viewed it but we were promised that the detailer would take car of the issue and we would have the car back the next The car smelled of smoke when we viewed it but we were promised that the detailer would take car of the issue and we would have the car back the next day so we agreed to purchase it. We made a mistake in purchasing it because when the car was delivered to us the car smelled as though nothing had been done to it. I ended up scrubbing the interior of the car with cleaner (you could see the caked on tar coming off of the interior on my rag) and spraying fabric freshener in it because the smell was intolerable. It is now very faint but you can still smell it. Since we received the car, we have had the windows down in it every day all day long to let the smell out but it just doesn’t help any at all. Johnathan set us up to bring the car in for a smokebomb and cabin filter replacement today at 2pm. When my husband dropped the car off, the mechanic gave him an attitude and told him that he wouldn’t have time to do a smoke bomb because he gets off at 3pm. When we came to pick up the car, it still smelled of smoke, so that didn’t fix the issue at all. I am so incredibly upset with this purchase. It is hazardous for my family’s health to be breathing in the air in that car and I am at a loss of what to do to rid this and I am incredibly frustrated at this point. More
