Friday, 18JAN2013 Yesterday afternoon, I called Friday, 18JAN2013 Yesterday afternoon, I called Worden-Martin because my 2 year old, 2011, pickup truck battery was not holding its charge overnig Friday, 18JAN2013 Yesterday afternoon, I called Worden-Martin because my 2 year old, 2011, pickup truck battery was not holding its charge overnight. The service department asked if I needed a jump start. I told them that no I could do that. He said to bring it in right away. The Delco battery was tested and found to have a dead cell. The battery was replaced under warranty at no charge to me for parts nor labor. (Thanks, GMC.) I was driving home with a new AC Delco Professional Silver battery in less than an hour and a half from the time of my phone call! (Thanks, George.) (The battery is so new that the warranty code, "P 023R", is for next month!) Inspecting the installation, I found the battery and connections to look "brand spankin' new" under the hood -- clean and tight and in-place. (Thanks, Adam.) Of course, everyone at Worden-Martin was very friendly and I read much of the day's Wall Street Journal in the waiting room. (No free donuts 'til Saturday.) Dave P.S. I would have had to waste all my time on answering this only to AFTERWARDS find out it was lost if my great uncle or my dad worked there for 6 months 20 years ago (which, they did not -- lucky for your ears) !!! . I purchased a very nice pre owned Chevrolet Equinox in January 2012. I was able to take advantage of the dealer's 'three for three' program that they offer. Recently I had experienced what I thought was a January 2012. I was able to take advantage of the dealer's 'three for three' program that they offer. Recently I had experienced what I thought was a transmission problem. The vehicle didnt want to shift past second gear. It turned out to be a problem in the crossover era in that it was a broken wave plate in the transmission. I arrived at the service department just prior to opening on a Monday morning and was greeted by Paul Eggerton. He was thorough with his questioning on the symptoms and had me written up and in line for service in just a few minutes. A few hours later he followed up with me and informed me of the problems, solution and extended a rental option as I was needing to leave the vehicle in the shop overnight. The next day he followed up with me again just after lunch letting me know the vehicle was ready and washed up. Great communication and customer service. I trust Paul and his work and greatly appreciate his overall approach. In a business that can literally be highway robbery, I have no issues accepting Paul's feedback, directions and recommendations. Auto service departments have always been intimidating to me for some reason. Upon purchasing my Buick Enclave, I knew I would need to change from a service department that I had worked with for a number of me for some reason. Upon purchasing my Buick Enclave, I knew I would need to change from a service department that I had worked with for a number of years to a new unknown service department. General Manager Bob Nelson assured me that the Worden Martin service department was tops and he was right. My first encounter with the service department at Worden Martin occurred a few days ago and everything went smoothly......from the courtesy ride to my work place to the pick up my keys from the business office.....everyone was friendly. And the price was definitely great......free oil change for the first 3 years. P.S. Love, love my Buick Enclave! More
I was pleased with the customer service provided by George. I realize he has a thankless job and he handles it with a high degree of professionalism. I had the vehicle in for the same problem in July George. I realize he has a thankless job and he handles it with a high degree of professionalism. I had the vehicle in for the same problem in July 2011 and they replaced just the blower motor. I understand that problems can be hard to diagnose if they aren't happening when the vehicle is brought in, but if the complaint is that the AC is not putting out cold air, the technician should have looked further than just the blower. I feel the technician in July 2011 did not check the air conditioner closely enough or he would have found that it was the compressor, not the blower motor. If he had found the compressor problem in July, it would have been partially paid for by the extended warranty and would not have cost me over $1,000.00. I believe that Worden Martin should absorb part of the cost for this repair since they failed to fix it correctly in July 2011. More
This dealership has very personnal and friendly people working for them. The courtesy car for bringing one home while the work is being done is GREAT! However, paying over $600 for maintenance is a pretty hefty bill. More
