My experience with Schaumburg Kia has been nothing but problematic and disappointing for the 3rd time in a row. I myself am an automotive technician at another dealer and completely surprised by the level problematic and disappointing for the 3rd time in a row. I myself am an automotive technician at another dealer and completely surprised by the level of incompetence and failures at this dealer. I’ll be sure to never return or recommend this dealer. I had dropped my car off overnight at the old location, was never made aware of the new location when I scheduled my appointment. I was told the car was finished. This is when the problems started. I had brought my car in for a transmission issue and some lights on. The lights were diagnosed however, I was charged an hour diagnosis for practically a code scan. This is the Third time in for the transmission issues. They said it could not be replicated; there was no offer to do a customer drive or inspect further. As this call was less then a few hours after I was told the car was checked in. The disappointment came because I have been here before with the same advisor and replicated the issue twice with different technicians on 2 separate occasions. There was nothing that could be done at that time, however the issue has gotten worse since. To add more insult to injury when I got my receipt, the mileage was the same. Leading me to believe this issue was never looked at all. Considering I paid nearly $200 for an hour of diagnosis, I’m sure this should have been looked at further. I paid and called to authorize overnight pick up. I was told it was ok and the key would be in a secure location. When I showed up to the dealer, old location, nobody was there however all the service department door were open, I looked for over 30 minutes over the entire property for my car. I even called 5 different associated number. Luckily I saw a couple employees from the Honda dealer next door who was helping me in finding out about the new location. When I had got to the new location I found my car locked, with no key in sight. I did see a finance manager locking the gates. I had asked if he could help me get my car. He said he doesn’t know there the keys are and couldn’t help me. He himself couldn’t even lock the gates because the lock was locked and he didn’t know where the key was kept. If this alone doesn’t paint the picture of the communication and management of this dealership I don’t know what does. I then called the next morning 2 times with no answer so I then called the main line to the service department. They shuttled me to the dealer and I was able to get my car. I was over 3 and 1/2 hours late to work because of this dealer’s incompetence. I’ve lost money from missed work and had to make up the lost time somehow. What a complete mess and disappointing experience. If there was any communication I would had not been late and missed my jobs expectations. I didn’t think It would be that hard for this dealer to meet theirs. More

This is by far and I mean by far the most honest ,transparent and world class experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. Man was he ever I have bought so many vehicles in my lifetime and never did I have a better understanding of the features and benefits that the Kia had that was far above the competition. What was amazing was the positive energy, and genuine happiness that the entire staff seem to have anyone that was in close proximity of me asked if I was taken care of and even though I replied that Dan was taking care of me they asked if I would like anything to drink while Dan was getting my vehicle. After I chose the model and trim based on all the knowledge shared by Dan and massive new car inventory that Bob Rohrman has, I was introduced to the Service manger and the General Sales manager. Ricki Perez who assured me that his staff has a common core belief that even though the sign on the door and his business card says Bob Rohrman it is me and every other customer that the staff works for. And that is before the sale, during the sale and forever after the sale and assured me that if I ever felt as though that was not happing to please let him know so that he can correct the issue and continue to strive for excellence. Wow ,Wow this is the Gm. First time ever has a Gm come out to speak to a potential customer I mean I have not even bought yet. I had experiences in the past were I had a complaint about a issue and would try to get a gm or owner to respond with no luck I. would get a automated email response with no follow up call. For this to happen meant a lot to me. When the Pricing was presented it was in a professional ,honest and transparent manner that it was a easy decision to do business with Dan ,.. Mr. Perez and the world class staff at Bob Rohrman Kia. A few days later I received a call from Dan making sure i was completely satisfied and also said if i was not comfortable working the features that he would come out to me if there was anything I was not sure on how to work on my new vehicle. Will forever be a customer of this organization and the professional caring culture that it has Thank you for everything !!!!! More
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SOLD A LEMON, HAVE YOUR CREDIT DESTROYED AND BE IGNORED BY STAFF/MANAGEMENT. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was sold a car with engine failure and have been jacked around regarding my refund and loan cancelation. I had the car in my possession for ONLY 2 DAYS! I did not receive a call from anyone durning whole ordeal with them. No one called to notify me of the problems. I had to reach out to them MULTIPLE TIMES. The service department informed me of the cars engine failure and said the sales team is working on a resolution. Aftes many days straight of calling and being transferred to wrong departments and leaving voice-mails, i still had no one contacting me. Almost two weeks to the date of purchase I walked into the store to see the sales managers eating girl scout cookies and chatting about golf behind the desk. Not once did a Manger even try to speak to me. I demanded a full refund and my loan to be canceled. 1 week had went by with many calls and visits to kia and even to the ford corporate office I finally received my refund check. Now two weeks have gone by and they still won't cancel my loan. Absolutely ridiculous and utterly disappointing. More

Found a Kia Sedona that looked like it would be a good fit for my family at the time. We needed an eight seat as we had a couple of foster kids added to our own then. Unfortunately , the internet price was too good to be true. I was given a choice of not having the car sold to me or having to purchase extras. Wish I would have walked & paid the extra $5k for the Honda I looked at just before going over there. On top of that, this supposedly "certified pre-owned" well inspected vehicle has had a lot of minor (thankfully not major) issues. The little scratches I should have noticed before hand, and they did not give me a complimentary touch up pen (like I didn't just buy a car from them). The radio antenna pickup almost nothing. It's a good thing I listen to everything off my connected phone anyways, and the one country station my wife listens to does come in. The was a tiny chip in the windshield that repaired that they didn't point out. The engine when it idles doesn't sound perfectly smooth. And the biggest annoyance with it is that neither side door wants to fully close all the time (one side almost none of the time). This causes us to have to get out & bump them closed constantly. Overall this dealership will use underhanded tactics to lure you in & charge you more. And they will not be honest with the quality of the vehicle you're purchasing. Maybe some of the other sales members treat you better, but I would never purchase another vehicle from Bill Brennan. More

They made a fake receipt to hide the illegal changes on the original, forged my signature, slandered my name to BBB & Atty General. When I asked why I didn't see the things I'd negotiated for they wanted to call the police. I called for them. The police refused to come because they said "you did nothing wrong". I simply asked a question. They refuse to correct the altered documents (written in pencil after typing) or reimburse me for a second, extra plate fee which is even larger than the original plate fee. I have 7 witnesses to Manager Ricky Perez reducing the price by $1824. They all agreed simultaneously & unanimously. I was told the reduction was on the receipt but that was a lie. Mr. Perez went back on his word. I have hard copy original documents with his handwriting & his forgery of my signature wasn't very good. By these figures he insists on continuing to cheat me out of $2,299.00 I negotiated for but was not given. I've got my documents and copies of his which I'd be happy to show in court. More
