Horrible! This will be an extremely long review, but a well worth read to anyone that is thinking of buying a car from this dealership. You know a person is This will be an extremely long review, but a well worth read to anyone that is thinking of buying a car from this dealership. You know a person is REALLY upset, when they take this much of their valuable time to write a very long, detailed bad review. As you can see by their already two stars, this is a dealership to absolutely avoid at all costs at this time. On Oct 11, 2018 I arrived at this dealership just before noon. I was met by salesman Mark Newman. I already messaged him the day prior to negotiate a used 2018 Camaro RS, that they had advertised on Facebook and that I was thinking of buying it for my wife’s birthday the next day. They advertised said vehicle as having a little over 1900 miles. I was thinking of trading in a leased vehicle, and of course I had to bring it in for them to appraise. Once there, it took less than an hour for us to come to an agreement on price. I was sitting around waiting for several hours and kept asking how much longer this purchase would take? I was assured “not much longer”. I advised Mark, and a new manager there, that I had a puppy at home and I couldn’t leave him this long. Again I was assured it wouldn’t take much longer. Finally a new gentlemen came in. I thought he was the finance manager to finalize my deal. No. This was a person that comes in to sell you added items like ceramic coating on your paint, undercoating etc. He was very polite, but I explained to him that I was in a hurry and not interested at the moment. Once again I was told that this shouldn’t take much longer. Another hour or so goes by. Now mind you I saw maybe one or two customers in the dealership this entire time. I once again tell the manager and salesman that I really need to get going. The salesman tells me to go get a beverage, and they will be right with me. At this point I asked for my car key and told the salesman, Mark, that I would return tomorrow. The salesman tells me a finance agent will be right with me. Again another hour goes by. I finally tell them I was leaving. They then sent me in to see John Hooker to do my paperwork. John was polite, and since he knew I was a retired Chicago Police Officer, became to tell me his friends and family are the police. Normally I would be glad to talk, but I explained that this was a gift for my wife, and I really needed to get home as quickly as possible, because I left our young dog home longer than I ever had. John began the paperwork and pointed to every area that he said I should sign. I looked at most of the paperwork, but if anyone has ever bought a car, you know you can’t possibly read every single line and figure out how they plug in the numbers. I knew my trade-in was in there, and the balance that I owed was rolled over into the loan. I was fine with that part since I knew I was putting a decent amount down on said vehicle. It’s probably around 5:30 pm at this point. Remember I got here before noon. I did ask for the extended warranty to cover the car past it’s factory warranty. I paid separate for that and did not roll that into the loan. Finally all the paperwork was done. I walked out to pick up the car. It was waiting by their service door. It wasn’t exactly clean, but I really needed to get going at this point. I get in the car and I see one key fob. I asked the salesman where the second one was? He said it only came with one since it was “used”. This is a push start ignition car. These key fobs are expensive. I wasn’t leaving there until I got a “we owe” for a second fob and scratches fixed on the front spoiler which we agreed on before I signed the paperwork’s. I finally got the extra key fob in writing. Now it’s even later. I get in the car, I turn it on and the first thing I see...the gas tank is empty. My salesman Mark told me when I was waiting, that the car would come with a full tank of gas. Now he tells me that he will go get someone to fill up the tank. I wait about ten minutes and a very young polite man shows up and tells me he’s going to take the car to get gas and will be right back. Meanwhile I’m now worried about my dog being alone for over 7-8 hours. I call my wife and explain that I was out and asked if she could leave work early to let the pup out. She could not. I finally get ahold of my adult daughter, who just got off of work, and she said she could let my dog out. The polite young man comes back and hands me the single key. I get in the car and start to pull out and notice I only have a quarter tank of gas. Yes, this dealer just sold me a car first with an empty tank, and now a quarter tank of gas. Being I’m already late to miss traffic , and I don’t live close at all, I knew I would hit traffic on the way home. I just decided to drive out of this obsolete nightmare of a car purchase. As I’m driving I go though the menus and notice this car has more mileage on it than I was told and what was put in all the paperwork. I immediately call the dealer and told them the mileage so they didn’t accuse me of putting on the extra miles. They told me to come back tomorrow and they will change the paperwork. I probably bought and/or leased over 20-25 cars easy in my lifetime. I’ve never had an experience like this. When I arrive home I show my wife her birthday present. She looks around the car and asks “where are the license plates?”. I was in such a hurry to get home from this nightmare day that I didn’t notice there wasn’t new plates on the car or any temporary plates or placard. Again I call and complain. Once again told “come back tomorrow”. The next day I return with my wife on her birthday. Not a way she wanted to spend her afternoon, but she was excited about the new car. I left out all the horrifying details of my purchase the day prior. We arrive and re-sign a few papers to change the true actual mileage, which should of been checked prior to me signing the paperwork, and especially before I took possession of said vehicle. The finance person told the salesman to put my new license plates on the car. The next day goes by and I call my salesman Mark and ask where the registration is, because I need that to buy a Chicago City Sticker. He tells me he will ask the finance guy, John. Also I ask him when I can pick up the extra key that my wife and I will soon need. I get a complete runaround. It’s as if as soon as I signed the paperwork with the now correct mileage, I was completely put on the back burner. I spent the following week calling multiple times about the key and registration. Also at this time, I decided to look into my police credit union for better interest rates. I found out, with my outstanding credit, that I qualified for an interest rate that was more than half of what this dealer was offering. I applied for a loan through my credit union and was approved instantly. I once again called my salesman and the finance manager to find out what bank they financed me through. I could not get an answer. Today, now Oct 22, I go to my appointment with my police credit union to refinance my loan. They asked me to bring all my paperwork the dealer gave me. They went over everything and noticed I was paying a lot more for the dealer’s extended warranty than they offer, and also they noticed I was charged $299 for a “Pivotal Security Protection Plus” plan. I never asked for nor wanted this plan. It’s basically a bs warranty that says IF in the event the the Theft Deterrent System fails to prevent the vehicle from being stolen they will reimburse you your deductible etc. This warranty is basically useless and I was told directly by the finance guy at the dealership that the dealer puts this automatically in your contract without even asking or telling you. My credit union then asked me for the bank that the dealer went through to finance me. I told them I was trying over a week to get that info with no avail. They put the dealership on speakerphone while I called them. Once again I get the runaround and no answers with my salesman or the finance guy. I then called the dealerships main line and asked to talk to a manager. The last woman on the phone was nice and asked what it was that I needed. On speakerphone I explained the situation, and that I was at my credit union trying to refinance and I needed information on what bank had my loan so I could pay it off. After being transferred once again, I was told Bank of America had my loan. Now my credit union (with me on speakerphone) calls Bank of America and their representative tells us that they do NOT have me as having a car loan with them. By now I’m at my police credit union over two hours. They were appalled at the way this dealership was handling this entire transaction and said they would make sure to pass onto their members to stay clear of this dealership. As of right now I still have no idea who the dealership did my loan through. I’m still short one key, and also my front spoiler needs to be re-painted. I belong, and am a current member to all of the following unions and clubs. I am advising all members (and anyone) to stay away from this dealership until they have completely satisfied all my concerns. FOP, Teamsters, AFSCME, Blue Knights LE/MC and Moose Lodge 2578 Updates will continue to be published as I’m sure this will be ongoing. Don Buczkowski Chicago IL. More

Do not buy a car from Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford, Schaumburg, IL sales staff, sales manager, and general manager will make promises, not keep them and then threaten you wh Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford, Schaumburg, IL sales staff, sales manager, and general manager will make promises, not keep them and then threaten you when you complain. We are senior citizens and were met with a confrontational sales manager when we complained of their sales staff misrepresenting a lease agreement that we did not enter into. He even threatened us with a felony charge if we did not take possession of the vehicle. We refused to be bullied and contacted the general manager. After calling him several times with a detailed message and sending him a detailed email of our experience he has not responded. This is how this Ford dealer responds, threats, bullying, and management lets them do it to their customers. My advice, do not purchase or lease a vehicle from Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford. More
