THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMS! !! I can’t say I had great experience buying a car before but what I am going through with Ford Sawgrass is beyond everything you can think of. I b !! I bought a 2021 Ford expedition on October 11th for my birthday and dealt with Jay. The moment we agreed on the financing and me sitting down with the finance manager Carlos to fill out the paperwork my sale rep came in and told us it was late and he has to go home and left us (that’s when I knew I won the jackpot). The very first day I am driving the car, problems started straight away with engine light turning on with 2 different issues, rattling at the back of the vehicle and brake failing. Got on a call straight away with Jay my sales rep and explained what was happening. He needed to speak to his manager and call me back which he never did despite me trying to call him several times without answer. It all lasted over a week until I decided to escale to the manager Angel. Few days later Jay is calling back and asking me to bring the car to the shop which I did the following day. They gave me a paid rental for 5 days, a Ford mustang which I didn’t mind since it was only gonna last a week but it’s been today a month and my car still have not been touch because they are backed up. Service department is telling me today that the faulty part is ordered but is currently on back order with NO ETA. I am basically paying a thousand dollar a month for a car that I drove for a week and that nobody knows when it’s going to be fixed. I am asking for a rental that is equivalent to the car that I bought but got a refusal and they have the xxxxx to tell me that I have to pay the rental from my pocket. Spoke to almost every manager in this dealership and they all seem to find this situation fair. Asked for my money back and the sales manager Kris telling me that as soon as I pay and sign the paper that’s it. Even if the car is unable to leave their parking there is nothing they can do for me since I paid and sign the documents. IF THIS IS NOT A SCAMM I want to know how it is qualified. I will be telling this story to every single person that I know and make sure that everybody is aware of how you guys are doing business. You all should be ashamed!!! More
great experience. no dealer fees means you truly do know what you are paying, I have bought a lot of cars over my 50 years of eligible driving (here and abroad) and w no dealer fees means you truly do know what you are paying, I have bought a lot of cars over my 50 years of eligible driving (here and abroad) and while I always feel like I left money on the table, there is NO way to not do that. any car dealer is there to make a profit, which they do, but not a retirement plan, which they didn't. I don't know if there is any haggle in the no-haggle as I did my research (that's the point, do that and there is no bait-and-switch, if that happens that's on YOU) and knew the price listed (and what I paid) was a fair as I'd get anywhere--again, they will make a good profit, that's business anywhere. This is a long story, but I'll try to make it short, I put down a $1000 to hold a truck that was in transit, it was perfect, the color and all the options I wanted. Truck arrived on a Wednesday, I called on Friday since this was a long drive and spoke with JJ on the phone and explained that I had received a discount thru a family member, I also was concerned about their inability to be clear on my trade, and that this was a long drive that I didn't want any issues. He assured me that they were a reputable dealership and asked me to text him the information on the discount and he would check with his manager to make sure they could sell me the vehicle at that price. I sent him everything and texted me back “ perfect .” I spoke with a salesman Alberto ( JJ had arranged for him to handle the sale) Friday late afternoon and said I would be there at 9 am in the morning. I arrived on time, went for a test drive, came back to do the deal, and as we sat down I was informed by Alberto I could not use the discount, at about this same time JJ texted me the same information. I was upset to say the least, I showed Alberto the text in which JJ had written "perfect" the day before, so he went to his manager, and they still denied me the discount. After a couple more back and forth we left and drove home thru I-95 traffic and rainstorms, awful experience. On the way home JJ had the nerve to text I had agreed to pay MSRP on truck since I had given him the $1000 down to hold the truck. I guess he figured I didn't have a problem with lying and deceitfulness, far from "perfect". More
Sawgrass Ford is wonderful. I had to take my vehicle there for a recall. The whole experience was seamless from the time I dropped my vehicle off to the time I picked it up. Quick lane service is a joke. Wait time is more than an hour just to be seen. Total time for an oil change is 4 hours plus not to mention prices are higher than others. Friday came and the car was still not serviced. Only moved from side to side ( I have the GPS in the car ). Why schedule an appt if it's not going to be serviced? Imagine scheduling a doctor's appointment and you're still sitting in the waiting room for 4 days??? When we purchased the car, there was a customer complaining about the same issue and my husband and I looked and heard all the commotion for the same reason. Now, we're experiencing it. When we picked up the car ( WITHOUT being serviced ) the Service Advisor, Michael Promyslovsky said " sorry we couldn't service the car", shake my husband's hand and just walked away.. No apology. No " let's see what we can do for you, basically just walked away. A 3-second conversation. I rarely post reviews, but this one really lit a fire in my soul to express this major concern which I'm sure it's the norm for this location; Sawgrass Ford. More
