Would actually be 4 & 3/4 stars, as the only negatives were: 1 - the extreme "low-balling" with the trade-in of an excellent very low-mileage Mercedes, AND 2 - the "chiseling" of the trade-in amount were: 1 - the extreme "low-balling" with the trade-in of an excellent very low-mileage Mercedes, AND 2 - the "chiseling" of the trade-in amount agreed on. THERE IS A COMMON PRACTICE OF SPLITTING THE TAX SAVINGS DIFFERENCE/BENEFIT OFF THE PURCHASE PRICE. Dealers (as here) are still building in added costs to cover overhead, but can go beyond the reasonable sales profit margin with individuals who aren't wealthy.
