Called a week ago about a Jeep and spoke with Jerry in Jeep sales who claimed he would call me back with trade value which never happened. Called him back the next week and Jerry claimed he never spoke to Jeep sales who claimed he would call me back with trade value which never happened. Called him back the next week and Jerry claimed he never spoke to me and they lowballed the trade. I then told him take trade out of deal and get me bill of sale with a total and I’ll bring a cashiers check. Was told it’s their managers policy not to give out of state customers any final prices. They’re doing this to add fees on your total after you drive 2 hours there thinking you won’t leave without a car. I was then told the jeep was sold yet it is still advertised on their site. They’re playing the bait and switch game with awful customer service and is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else with your money because this place does not deserve it. Took my business elsewhere and had a better experience with no games. More

The worst experience ever. Took the car to them for third time to fix balancing and wheel alignment and transmission problems. When they end up crashing my car, repairing it without my knowledge. He act like if you want you take the car or leave I didn't see nobody was on the Sansone Rt 1 Auto Mall for Dodge dealership for buying any cars I never experience like this entire life before. On July 22 I was hoaxed into Sansone Jeep/Chrysler on an advertised 2014 Dodge Challenger stock#N136884U with 41,000 mile at a good price of 17,659.00. Needles to say she was very excited and we both expected a good experience. My intention was to pay for the car IN FULL with no financing and my daughter drive it home. The salesperson brought the car out front and it was not yet detailed, had some scratches and small dents and some of the rubber trim was dry rotted. My daughter and I test drove the vehicle and it was obvious the front left shock was broken. The salesman brought out the mechanic and he tried to convince me there was nothing wrong with the shocks and said “that’s the way sport cars sound” ridiculous!! I have worked on cars for over 40 years and the shock was broken. Anyway we liked the car and since it needed to be detailed, shock repair and some trim replaced I figured the dealership would save time and money if I took the car as is. And they didn’t need to derail or do the minor repairs. I offered $16,600 on the car. Salesman went to His manager who couldn’t be bothered to even meet me and my very excited daughter he hands me a piece of paper with a total price of $21,700? I said why is it so much? He said tax, tags, registration and fees. I said if the car is $17,659.00 and the tax is 7% $1,236.00 and tags and registration estimated at $500 then why are you charging an additional over $2,000 more than advertised? He said that’s the fees. I said so the car isn’t really $17,659.00 as advertised. He said we charge fees and asked for the piece of paper back that he handed me with the quote on it. Total bait advertising. They had nor have any intention of selling the car at the advertised price and waisted my time and needless to say spoiled my daughters day. It also shocks me that a manager wouldn’t come and meet a 17 year old girl who is buying her first car and take the opportunity to make that a great experience for my daughter, for himself and for his dealership that he manages. I guess she won’t be returning when she gets her second car. Isn’t it the sales managers job to make their client experience great and generate sales and future sales. What exactly are they paying him for? To write down sloppy quotes on a piece of paper in the back room and send his salesman out to misrepresent an advertised vehicle? Buyer beware when going to Sansone Jeep/Chrysler. More
In 2014, We traveled out of state, to buy our brand new Jeep Cherokee Latitude, at Sansone Jeep. Mainly for my wife, who only drives locally, we averaged just over 6,600 miles a year! Today, at 5 years old Jeep Cherokee Latitude, at Sansone Jeep. Mainly for my wife, who only drives locally, we averaged just over 6,600 miles a year! Today, at 5 years old, it has just shy, of 33,200! It’s had a history of transmission problems! On 1/16/2016 with only 13,406 miles it was in for a new warranty covered transmission! On 4/4/2018, it was in again under warranty for transmission failure codes, core return, and transmission module, with only 24,550 miles! On 1/18/2019, it was in again for a transmission failure warning, with only 28,311 miles on it! Unable to disengage drive or reverse! On 4/22/2019 we smelled something burning, check engine light came on! With 29,659 miles, the oil cooler was leaking! It was replaced! So on 12/20/2019, with 32,939, miles on it, we had it’,, “Towed”, mind all of the 6 visits, mentioned here, I had to pay Towing, and a $42.00 bridge toll! So anyway the day before 12/19/2019, my wife had the attendant fill up the tank at our local service station, she was headed home, we live less than a mile away, around the corner she experienced all the transmission failure symptoms that we have come to know so well! Transmission slipping, shaking and stalling! In addition there was digital text on the odometer screen saying: service transmission’,, which she took a picture of’,, showing the exact mileage when it died: 32,939! So when they called me and told me all the damage to my car’,, “Which, by the way was not, covered by my “MOPAR EXTENDED SERVICE WARRANTY CONTRACT”, I was floored! They hit hit me with an $800.00 PLUS Service Bill!?!? Every time I was in New Jersey to pick up my vehicle from service or recalls, I would fill up! Gas was cheaper there! The attendants often rounded up to the next highest dollar! There was never a problem! I think they knew they sold me a Lemon’,, and cut their losses! IF THEY ATTRIBUTE ALL THAT FLOODING DAMAGE TO OVER FILLING THE GAS TANK’,, I WONDER IF SALESMEN ARE WARNING PERSPECTIVE BUYERS NOT FILL UP THEIR GAS TANKS? I WONDER IF THERE IS A SECTION IN THE OWNERS MANUALS WARNING AGAINST FILLING UP YOUR GAS TANK? I WONDER IF THEY’RE PUTTING A WARNING STICKER INSIDE THE FUEL DOORS WARNING ATTENDANTS NOT OVER FILL? “NO”! “OF COURSE NOT”! “BECAUSE IT’S RIDICULOUS”! EVERY SERVICE STATION OWNER I TELL THIS STORY TO CAN’T BELIEVE IT! I AM DISPUTING THE CHARGES’,, AND REQUESTING A FULL REVIEW OF THIS MATTER! THIS IS OBVIOUSLY AN ENGINEERING, AND OR DESIGN FLAW! SOMETHING FAILED INTERNALLY! IT “SHOULD NOT” BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE NEW CAR OWNER! THEY DENIED THE FIRST CLAIM OF MY “ MOPAR EXTENDED SERVICE WARRANTY CONTRACT”, I AM REQUESTING A FULL REFUND OF MY OVER $800.00 PLUS, OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE! More
