Although the dreaded words, "What would it take for us to put you in this car today?" were uttered when we departed as we were leaving after our first visit. I, and I'm sure many others, hate it when sales people throw that line out there. Fortunately, when we told the sales person we just began our search, he did not push the issue. The fact he did not pressure us was the most important factor in us returning. We test drove 2 vehicles and wanted to think on it for a couple of days. I haven't purchased too many vehicles, but this was the most pleasant experience I've had in buying a car. Nick Lussier was great during the "closing". He answered all the questions I had and got me in and out quickly. People don't want to feel rushed into selecting a car, but once they've decided on a vehicle they want the process to move quickly. I think StJ Subaru struck that balance perfectly. I would certainly recommend StJ Subaru to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle. More
Long Drive - Somewhat Favorable Deal at St. J Subaru I am still waiting for my Subaru All-Weather Car Mats and the included extra Subaru Impreza Key Fob (missing at St. J Subaru dealership). In addition I am still waiting for my Subaru All-Weather Car Mats and the included extra Subaru Impreza Key Fob (missing at St. J Subaru dealership). In addition, awaiting for the $65.00 stipend for the Subaru Test Drive offering. I thought I would actually get a better deal! I felt that the trade number for the 2016 Honda FIT EX at $11,800.00 was too low. Overall, a somewhat favorable deal -- but I would have liked more movement by the General Manager to make the actual deal at $229.00 per month. I thought that figure was very fair and we felt as though we had come up from our original intention of $199.00. Before driving up from Burlington, I was told that there was "wiggle room" of between $800 to $1,000 versus their competitor, Burlington Subaru. On those words, that is why I made the long trip up to the St. J Subaru dealership. I am not totally disappointed, but feel as though I was not told an accurate figure in order to get me up to St. Johnsbury. The "deal-making" was not easy. We were at the dealership all afternoon -- 4 to 5 hours (complete process of test drive to signing documents). Vehicle could have been prepped better. Upholstery had a couple of ink spots that were noted in advance by us and had to be re-done. Interior of the windows were not cleaned thoroughly along with the rear view mirror that had numerous fingerprints -- noticed while driving the new 2019 Subaru home in the dark (during a snow squall). AWD feature worked quite well! No Subaru incentives for recent graduate or loyalty discount, either. That is rather strange in today's new vehicle marketplace. Thank you. Richard Wolbach More

Very friendly Dealership We searched for a new WRX online through the Bj's Wholesale Club car buying program. St. Johnsbury Subaru came up as being the closest deal to us. They gave us a quote for the car that was acceptable and we made an appointment to see the car. They met us at the front door actually holding the door open for us. The greeter asked how they could help, we told him who we were seeing and he notified the salesman we were there. The whole process took just over 2 1/2 hours everybody was very nice and accommodating. They answered all of our questions explained the car and the options in detail. We would definitely recommend this dealership to others and we would buy another car from them in the future. More

The amount of time it took to complete the sale was way to long though. I had an appointment at 2:30 and Adam was on time. I eventually ended up driving my new Outback at 5:30!!!! More
