Good Customer Service and Prices are Competitive I live in Connecticut and was shopping around for a Honda Pilot. After trying to negotiate with 2 Honda dealers (Cardinal Honda and Westbrooke Honda) I live in Connecticut and was shopping around for a Honda Pilot. After trying to negotiate with 2 Honda dealers (Cardinal Honda and Westbrooke Honda), their prices barely matched true car. The original price for the pilot I was looking for was quoted at 38,888 at Cardinal and 38,755 at Westbrooke, neither dealers would budge on their price. I then did a True Car submission and got a call from Saccucci from Megan Landri who got me at 38,055. This was considered a great deal on True car and beat all dealers in the area to include Connecticut and Rhode island for the Pilot model I was interested in. They were having difficulty getting the color I wanted but eventually got the color. However, they also had another deal for a higher model (touring) that I couldn't pass up. The touring was a demo model with just 1000 miles on it driven only by the and confirmed through Car Fax and personal meeting with Barbara. Some Demos are great deals and some are not. In this case the Demo I got was used very little and treated very well. The Pilot AWD Touring is usually sold at about 43,000 before taxes, fees, ETC. After a bit of negotiating. I was able to get that Touring out the door at 42500 after tax, fees, ETC to even include All Weather Flood Liners with spill protection. Megan was off the day I showed up but she kindly came in and introduced herself and had me working with David who did a very good job at working with me and following up with me after the purchase. Mike and barbara helped me out as well with the price. I enjoy a dealer who is willing to deal and not promise a fixed price. Cardinal promises a "Clear and Simple Price" but when the customer wants to haggle for a True Car price, they won't move. When pressured by other dealers, it takes their Leadership to move.
