My 2010 Subaru Outback needed passenger headlight and another bulb. Waited 1 1/2 hours for service completion, when paying invoice the materials cost approximately $53 and labor $70. Being this bad can't come naturally. I won't believe it. The service department must try to be terrible. Weird flex. Scheduled service two weeks in advance for weekend. Notified several hour after drop off they would be unable to perform the scheduled service because they never brought the parts in and that they wanted to keep car for the weekend. When asked for explanation, was hung up on. This is just the latest incident in a long history of unsatisfactory service. Having purchased the car from the dealership years back, the vehicle recieved free oil changes, so I would tolerate eating some crud to save a couple of bucks. Having had this experience, I filled out the survey sent by service department. I was appaled to find that the general manager pulled my work phone number from paperwork and called me there. It was not to see what could be done to make ammends, rather if I could take reciews down or not be so critical of them. Now prefer to drive out of state to avoid "world" ownership. The other "World Subaru" (Newton, nj) has always treated me well, but the sour taste left in my mouth from Hackettstown will have me avoiding for the "world group' for the rest of my life. More
