Worked very hard to find me a great car I was not very interested in buying a new car, I had driven the same 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon for 11 years, and that car was a certified pre-owned ve I was not very interested in buying a new car, I had driven the same 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon for 11 years, and that car was a certified pre-owned vehicle. I give the salesman my story, and at the time there were not many cars to choose from on the lot. I thought I would just bite the bullet and go with a new car and shopped around on the internet. Then within a matter of a few days, I got a call that a basically fully loaded 2012 Forester was available at a very competitive price. The salesman was correct, it was the right car for me and worked with me to get a few additional accessories installed. I was a bit worried about the selection, but they did the leg work to find the car that was right for me. Now I am hopeful to be driving this one for the next 11 years. More

DONT. JUST DONT!! Please, thank you. My trade in has been in the dealerships possession for 32 days, up for sale on their website for at least 15 days, and STILL NOT PAID OFF! OVER A M My trade in has been in the dealerships possession for 32 days, up for sale on their website for at least 15 days, and STILL NOT PAID OFF! OVER A MONTH AGO I signed a contract for a new car at Route 46 Subaru LLC. Since my first phone call to them, until today I’ve felt uneasy and tremendously dissatisfied with my experience. If I wasn’t in such a rush to just get a car, I would have NEVER settled on this dealership. At first I thought I could deal with the inexperienced salesman, the inappropriate general manager and the rude glorified sales person aka finance lady. I truly learned a life lesson, settling is not worth it!! It’s now been 32 days and due to incompetent staff at Route 46 my credit has been has negatively impacted. I now understand I’m still contractually bound to make payments within the time my trade in is not paid off, but this is getting ridiculous and that is not what I was told through multiple conversations with the dealership. Both my salesman and a receptionist told me NOT to pay my car payment. I have a text from my salesman who sold me the car reading “U don’t need to pay it. Dealership has up to 30 days to pay the payoff by law”. I was at that dealership from 10am to around 3pm!! Then on top of the bad experience and long wait time, I was lied to, straight to my face for over an hour in the finance department. I felt like I was teaching my salesman things about Subaru he didn’t know! I was misled into entering a contract and pay-off agreement with the dealership and only bought the new car because the dealer promised to pay off the trade in. I turned over the vehicle, complete service records and keys. This dealership has wrongfully failed to pay off my trade in within 30 days, which was part of the contract for the purchase of the new car. I don’t want to waste any more time calling Route 46 Subaru or being upset about this entire experience. Any reputable dealership should be happy to accommodate certain requests and be informative, I mean they are there to move cars right?! NOT THIS PLACE, Do yourself a favor and please go somewhere else! Go do business with a dealer that will accommodate your requests and actually be helpful not a burden. There are too many honest dealers out there DON’T waste your time here! I’m looking forward to the Customer Satisfaction Survey. I guess they want me to go to the State Attorney General, DMV and the BBB…..?! More

Very Satified with our New Forester Purchase Process We recently purchased our 4th Subaru; the most recent two at Subaru 46. We wanted a 2015 Forester with specific equipment and color. At that time 20 We recently purchased our 4th Subaru; the most recent two at Subaru 46. We wanted a 2015 Forester with specific equipment and color. At that time 2015 Forester Limited's were just beginning to come into the US market, and there were none meeting our desires on the lot, nor at any other dealers in the area. Our salesman, Victor, took down our list of requirements, and offered a fair price. At the same time, the dealer placed a factory order for a "to be built" car with our specifics. The dealership continued to try to locate "our car" among those available, or on order, in the area market, but because our order was very specific with regard to options, and due to the fact that US deliveries were apparently just beginning to "gear up", they were unable to locate "our car" in the existing inventories. Victor had given us an estimated "window" for construction and shipment of the factory ordered car. I checked out Subaru Forester purchaser blogs on the internet and concluded that Victor's estimated delivery date was overly optimistic. We were impatient, but Victor was very patient, and reassuring, with us. To our pleasant surprise, "our car" arrived on the first day of the delivery "window" which Victor had given us. We're convinced that Victor and the Dealership did everything they could to make that happen. It was a pleasure to work with Victor; i.e. no pressure, pleasant, calm, humorous and knowledgeable. Ms. Natale also handled the paperwork in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner. More
