Horrible, unprofessional! To summarize: they are horrible and extremely unprofessional. To expand: We went to Route 22 after we tried to work out a lease on a Corolla at Toyota Universe, which BTW, everyone there (at Toyota Universe) were super nice and extremely professional (we'll come back to them later...read on). We called Route 22 because my father once leased a car there and was hoping we'd qualify for discounts/rebates to be able to get a low priced lease, they told us over the phone to come over and that they could definitely offer a better deal than Toyota Universe could. So, foolish we believed them, and we went. Upon arrival, the desk and person greeting were nice (the only time I experienced "nice" here), and then we were introduced to the sales person who would take care of us, who greeted us chewing food with his mouth open, you know, like a professional does. Then, we said we had my old car to give/trade-in as down-payment. They took my cars information to appraise it and asked us to sit down, several minutes went by, until several minutes became 30 minutes, and I heard our sales person laughing away and having a conversation with a fellow co-worker, so I asked him if it'd be longer, and upon my complaint, the appraisal was magically finalized that very instant. I complained about the ridiculous wait and, I guess he's the floor manager, greeted me and my father, again super professional (sarcasm) and did not bring us over to a desk to sit, but rather had us standing with the papers on top of the hood of one of the cars there, as he offered us the very same deal Toyota Universe had offered! We reminded them that they said they could definitely offer something better, but they said it just wasn't possible. Mind you, they never sat us down, ran our credit, asked if we'd give anything down, nothing. Needless to say, my experience with the unprofessional personnel at Route 22 is enough to keep far from here forever. And please take my advice, do the same, stay away. I'm also reviewing Toyota Universe, feel free to check out my review for them (where I ended up getting my lease). My issue with Route 22 is not that I did not work out a deal, because I first went to Wayne Mazda (I currently have a lease there, so I tried there hoping there'd be a good deal) and I went to Toyota Universe (which initially we couldn't agree on a deal), and in both visits, I was greeted by professionals, who took their time (instead of wasting my time) to talk everything over and see what could/couldn't be done. My only guess from the lack of professionalism and people skills at Route 22 Toyota is that they lack management and training. Again, stay away! More

Flat tire service via package - worst experience Purchased a package via this dealership to take care of flat tire a few years back. I was told by manager that the tire is covered as long as it is runnable. A few weeks ago I brought my car to this dealer due to a flat tire. Service was bad as 1) long waiting hour ; took more than two hours to wait 2) did not do the job; was told there was no leak but actually it does. 3) Car messed up with a lot of oil spots inside when they handed back the car to me. 4) I realized they did not check the leak as the tire pressure indicator was turned on the following day, So I scheduled another early morning appointment hoping to shorten the waiting time, and explained on the phone the reason of revisiting the dealership including the package I have. Out of my surprise, during this second visit on Feb 4,2017 service writer John Veli insisted that the package I purchased was a traveler package which only last for one year and it is expired, not the package that I described. I know he was wrong. And I told him if that is the case, they should have told me in advance so I don't need to take a special trip to go there. Also, he kept repeating to me that nothing is free, make it appears that I am greedy. It is an insult. To avoid wasting time further, I tried to find a solution by paying the tire fix service. However, he told me just the inspection will cost more than $50, what an unreasonable price. I immediately got back the car, drove to a local tire service store, and got the tire fixed right the way. It cost me $10. Make it fair, the service staff spent an hour to clean the spots as hard as they could for #3 above after I complained. And I hope the worst experience of this latest visit is an individual incident done by individual staff. The rating apply to these last two visits. More

And now he is calling me everyday saying that I own him the floor Mats because he order it and can't return it anymore! And calling me bad words ! I really recommend this dealer but not this salesman! More
