I am a manager in customer service and have been for years, so I have some knowledge here. I think what they did is illegal (per FTC), and there were several people involved (i.e. Abel Ceballos, Matt Heneberry, Jessica, and Sherrey, to name a few. They threatened send me to collection saying I owed money on a trade in, but Abel and Matt specifically said I owed nothing (I asked NUMEROUS times). They lied and said LoJack comes with the vehicle, along with a few other "extras". I called Kia headquarters and they admitted that I was lied to but they cannot do anything as dealerships operate independently. They only tell truth "by omission". They will purposely leave info out with the mindset that "you didn't ask, so I won't tell". I tried to get the "extras" off and fight the 300.00 collections issue, but I was ignored, hung up on, passed on to numerous people, told the managers were not available or would call back (never would). They also stiffed me on 50.00 gift card promo. I never received 2 gift cards that I was owed. So the owe me over 400.00. I went into the dealership recently March 2024, and heard them do the same tactics to other shoppers, lying, 'trapping' customers in the building, harassing them, it was AWFUL. Trust me, they will say anything to get a car sale. They will start off with high prices and add unnecessary fees (which is illegal in some cases, look up FTC dealer rules about fees). They treated me less than human and they should be ashamed. They harassed me via text and voicemails, etc. Again, trust me, stay away from Roseville Kia! More
Everyone I worked with was personable and friendly, I never felt pressured into completing the purchase. I felt like they went the extra mile to make sure my deal was everything I needed it to be.
