Things went down hill quick! Updated review- use caution! My initial review in sept: Melanie and Marcus did a fantastic job of taking the time to explain my full vehicle purchase and options. Today we work My initial review in sept: Melanie and Marcus did a fantastic job of taking the time to explain my full vehicle purchase and options. Today we worked well to accomplish an amazing deal. Update: Melanie is the worst! Use caution!!! I have heard there are some new staff there now and some old that have left, so it might be fine and I don’t want to bash the new crew. BUT- 3 weeks after purchasing my car, I was told my electronic signatures did not save, so I needed to return to the dealership. Once I re-signed my electronic documents, I discovered that they (assuming Melanie) had added the $2000 Alpha warranty, which I had declined. She also did not give me the military discount that she told me she would and that my original paperwork had. She also notified me I would be getting a low APR bc I had excellent credit, but then I discovered she gave me the high finance rate at 75 months. Voicemail boxes for Finance Dept still to this day are either not set up or full. Countless emails and phone calls were left that first month, in an attempt to resolve the issues. One month after purchasing the vehicle, I contacted Alpha warranty to see if they had my cancellation paperwork, and they informed me I didn’t even have a case on file with them yet! I ended up telling them my case number and faxing them my cancellation information. Reimbursement should have taken 30 days and it took 90! Not sure I would have gotten it at all if I did not keep calling. Peter is in the finance department now and he was the kind gentleman to return my call and help me get my reimbursement. I’m assuming if Mel is gone and he is there, things should be fine. Secretary also seemed nice. Other strange thing- my car had 700 miles on it when purchased, but they refused to change the odometer statement reading that said 12 miles when purchased. Also, the battery had been tampered with prior to me owning it, (no previous owners)which I only discovered bc it completely died on me while driving home 3 months after purchase. I had to be towed to the closest Kia. More
I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and a recall. They told me it would take around two hours which I knew ahead of time. After approximately an hour I was told my car was done. When checki a recall. They told me it would take around two hours which I knew ahead of time. After approximately an hour I was told my car was done. When checking out I was told that they did not rotate my tires because they did not need it. I was quite shocked and taken aback by the statement. I was told my tread depth was fine so it didn’t need it. The technician working on my car was the one that made this decision. I said no no no. I brought it in to have a tires rotated. I rotate my tires every oil change. So they took my car back into the garage and rotated my tires. I don’t quite understand why a technician working on my car would make a decision like that. The tires were Purchased in July so I knew they had plenty of tread Depth. I have always rotated my tires when getting my oil changed. I’ve gotten plenty of life out of prior tires by performing maintenance on them with the rotation. I was not very happy with this whole scenario. Thank you! More
#1: I asked for an oil change, tire rotation, new cabin air filter, and wanted to buy a spare tire kit for my KIA Soul. Brent, the manager insisted my car wouldn't accommodate a spare tire, but I showed hi air filter, and wanted to buy a spare tire kit for my KIA Soul. Brent, the manager insisted my car wouldn't accommodate a spare tire, but I showed him on my phone that KIA sells them for my make and model. I said let's look in the back; and sure enough, there was a space under the cargo area for a spare tire. But he said "they're on back order". Another local dealer had them in stock. #2: I was told the cabin filter didn't need changed. I doubted that, so the next day I pulled out the old one to find it was VERY dirty. They hadn't even looked or tried to change it. It would appear Brent's fragile male ego was more important than customer service or selling products that day. Won't be back. The previous service manager was excellent. But not Brent. More
BUY YOUR NEXT CAR HERE!! We went to a different Kia dealer before coming here and they were refusing to work with us on price for a “new” car. The car had 7,500 miles on it and has been in a fender ben dealer before coming here and they were refusing to work with us on price for a “new” car. The car had 7,500 miles on it and has been in a fender bender as a loaner car. I don’t consider that to be a “new” car. We walked out of that dealer and came straight here! Everyone was great here! Keston sold us our 2022 Kia Sportage and it is awesome! He answered all our questions and we were able to negotiate with them. Definitely will be referring everyone to this dealer!! More
What a joke. Went to dealership with excellent credit rating. 780-815. Picked out a car and made deal 9/7/21. They tried to add $4500 warranty. I told them no. They said come back next day and sign new c rating. 780-815. Picked out a car and made deal 9/7/21. They tried to add $4500 warranty. I told them no. They said come back next day and sign new contract which I did Found out they processed origional contract with warranty and bank funded loan. Demanded refund and dealer paid off origional loan and said they submitted new contract to BofA. I went weekly to both dealer and BofA on status of new loan. Dealership gave me a different story I came by. On November 7 2021 my 60 day tag expired. I had no way to register vehicle. Instead of giving me the title or another temp tag they put dealer plates on the car which I understand is not legal. Weekly trips to dealer and BofA resulted in nothing. Finally at the end of November on visit to dealer when I asked for the finance manager Melanie Vila they said she had been terminated. I told my story to new manager he went to back office. He returned and said my paperwork was still there and no loan in place. He told me to return in two days. On arrival he gave me the title to the car so I could register it and told me the bank has my paperwork and the dealership would make the two payments I should have made if the contract had been properly processed. On December 4 credit bureau shows new loan with BofA and on next day reported loan 60 days delenqient dropping credit score an avg of 80 points from excellent to average on a loan that was open two or three days. If you want poor service, constant lies, and constant aggravation along with ruining your credit rating by all means this is your dealership More
Complete lack of integrity and nothing but greed here folks. They deserve zero stars, not one... My wife and I reached out to buy a Telluride. Due to inventory shortages we had them custom order one folks. They deserve zero stars, not one... My wife and I reached out to buy a Telluride. Due to inventory shortages we had them custom order one for us months ago. When the order was placed we came to an agreement on the final price IN WRITING including all fees and add-ons so there wouldn't be any surprises when we came in later to get the vehicle. See the picture I posted of the agreement - at least I have the integrity to black out the numbers! I even conceded to buy this lame warranty package that they force on every car, no exceptions. Side note: add-ons at dealerships are never worth it (do the research) and I only conceded since my wife wanted this car so bad. Instead, when the vehicle shows up they changed their minds and wanted more money! They, including the head of the dealership Phil Skid, literally whined about how the previously agreed upon pricing was a mistake and how they weren't making enough money and could sell the car to someone else for thousands more. And the pricing disparity isn't like they had the decimal in the wrong place, we're talking that they suddenly just raised the cost a few thousand dollars. Then, when we held our ground on the price, we had in writing, they refused to call or text us back - too cowardly to even talk to us. AND THEN SOLD THE VERY CAR THEY CUSTOM ORDERED FOR US!!! What a joke. Do not go here period unless you're okay dealing with deceitful people who are greedy. More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!! This dealership cares only about selling the car, They act friendly until you sign the initial paperwork but once that is done they submit inflated finance numbers to the banks t selling the car, They act friendly until you sign the initial paperwork but once that is done they submit inflated finance numbers to the banks to take profits. Melanie is good at sweet talking you, no matter how frustrated the customer can get and keeps them waiting for hours bcz she cannot get her system to work. Melanie is the finance manager who is in-charge of the paperwork but is totally unaware on how and who entered incorrect numbers on our purchase agreement. She did not care to inform us that wrong numbers were put in our purchase agreement but instead my husband came to know through credit karma. I must say about Jacob, who says nothing about what is going on in the internal office while he sits with us for 3 hrs and kept bragging about how hard he works to get a 5 star review but he too neglected my husband's text. Phil, the general manager who pretends to take complete ownership of his job and pretends to fix the issue, becomes unresponsive once he thinks he gained the trust of the customer. Then comes into play Kamal and Pat, one is out of town or responds rudely over the text and the other dodges our call. To sum it all up, they did an impeccable job in committing fraud together by submitting loan paper work with inflated numbers and then dodges our calls/texts/emails. This dealership is going down hill, fraudulent ones do not last long. These are just a few words about everyone we dealt with here and I wish I could share more but I have word limitation on my review. This dealership is not recommended! More
Went to go buy a new 2022 Sorento and found out that they automatically charge for a protection plan that cost over $4000 for the Sorento. They do this to every new vehicle that's on the lot and you can't re automatically charge for a protection plan that cost over $4000 for the Sorento. They do this to every new vehicle that's on the lot and you can't remove this at all. It's not right to charge someone for something that you don't want to the price of a car. More
