After 52 years of service to the Hays community, Stan Dreiling’s James Motor Company was acquired by Robert Brogden in July of 2020. Robert Brogden, with over 40 years of automotive experience, currently owns Robert Brogden’s Olathe Buick GMC, the number one GM selling dealership in the state of Kansas, Robert Brogden's Olathe Kia, and recently acquired what is now Robert Brogden's Garden City GMC and Robert Brogden's Garden City Honda.
Brogden is from Nicodemus, Kansas, not far from Hays, and some may remember him from his days as top salesman for the K-G Men’s Clothing Store at The Mall in Hays in the late ‘70s through early ‘80s. Robert’s wife Kathy (Steiner) is a 1979 graduate of Fort Hays State University. Hometown roots and values make the Brogden brand one that Kansas families trust. The goal is to respect the busy lives of customers and provide them with a no-hassle, no-pressure experience.
Various charities and worthy causes have also benefited from Robert Brogden over the years. He and his family are longtime supporters of the community and they are looking forward to continuing this legacy of dedicated involvement within Hays and Ellis County.

I would recommend with words of caution and experience. We liked our salesman but didn't want nor want to pay for the ceramic coating. We didn't ask for it and didn't want to pay for it. Also, we didn't want to finance or trade a vehicle and feel that there should have been some reduction in price for this. Since we were needing a vehicle, we went ahead and purchased this vehicle. There was not an owner's manual or extra fob and apparently, this isn't part of your sale. We either could have the fee waived for the ceramic job that we didn't want or get a manual & fob, which should have been included and not something to "negotiate" on the price. We have purchased vehicle's from Wagner Toyota and Ford in McCook Nebraska and never had to pay more than the asking price and certainly didn't need to read the "small print" for an "add on" that would appear on the sales agreement. I will remember this and also caution people that it's almost $1000 in addition to what you see in print if you don't read the small print. I don't blame the people who work at Brogden's. They are put in a very difficult position. I am sure they have people who don't do what they do and make the decisions that they are put in place to explain. More

Not your fault but the paperwork is atrocious and takes forever to complete. Then had another delay when had to take the vehicle to the shop for a strange noise when Aaron started it up to show us all the forever to complete.
