Suffice it to say we have had our share of negative experiences with dealerships and I was not at all excited to contact this one either when I found my dream car online at their dealership. When I called, I got Shawn on the phone and was immediately impressed at how friendly he was, he was a great listener and seemed to really understand what we were looking for. I explained that I was 5 hours away and was hesitant to drive so far; he instead took a video giving me a virtual tour of the inside and outside of the vehicle which he posted to a private YouTube link for me to review. I explained how particular I was to which he responded with an amazingly thorough attitude every step of the way that even made a control freak like me loosen up. Shawn did all the paper work ahead of time and sent me copies of everything for me to review, he made ZERO errors along the way, and even got me 2.2% financing! This was really seeming too good to be true. The day before we were to finalize the deal I got a call from his manager just to say “Thanks for doing business with us” and went on to offer free shipping for the 5 hour distance, so I wouldn’t have to drive out! I could not believe it! When the drivers showed up they were friendly and respectful and arrived ahead of time straight to my doorstep. They provided the paperwork I had already reviewed, with no surprises, which took my 10 seconds to sign and away they went. No one tried to up-sell me on gap coverage and dumb accessories. Shawn immediately followed up to ask how everything looked and messaged me again the next day. I am still in disbelief at how EASY this process was and how honest this dealership behaved! Shawn and his team are the most honest and proficient sales people I have dealt with in any industry, much less expected from a dealership! New Experience I had been looking for a new truck for sometime when I located what I had been looking for, on the lot at Riverside. After calling several dealerships I had been looking for a new truck for sometime when I located what I had been looking for, on the lot at Riverside. After calling several dealerships in the area and meeting with friends in the business who weren't much help, I decided to contact Riverside. Upon my arrival Mr. Kirby(GM) was very accommodating. He introduced me to Travis Knight, a member of their sales team. From the outset, I realized Travis was not your typical car salesman. Travis is a former Marine, who served our country in the Middle East, fighting for our freedom. He was never pushy or slick, and was really listening to what I had to say and what I wanted out of a vehicle. I never once felt pressured to buy. After test driving the truck Travis answered a lot of important questions for me and was very knowledgeable. After several days of thinking about it, I called Travis and we made a deal. From the time I arrived at the lot, until the time I drove away in my new truck, I always felt like I was a name and a priority, not just his next sale. The professionalism and care that I received from Travis, Gray, and Kevin at Riverside was eye opening and renewed my faith in the car buying experience. They put fuel in it and we where on our way. The test drive sold the vehicle.
