My son bought a used pickup from this dealership. Unfortunately I am a co owner and I live in Florida. My son immediately started having problems with the truck and took it back to the service depart Unfortunately I am a co owner and I live in Florida. My son immediately started having problems with the truck and took it back to the service department. He ended up spending 150.00 to fix the problem and as he drove it home, same problem occurred again. I cannot advise exact details because I didn’t get into them as I was not there. My son ended up taking the truck back to service 3-4 times. The service manager ultimately told him that this truck should have never been sold and that it has too many problems to be fixed. My son was told to bring the truck back by July 1st and that it would be a buy back as he had only made one payment. Truck was brought back, plate taken off and keys left in vehicle. I then received a voice mail from Nate asking me about why the truck was parked there with no keys. I attempted to call and speak with Nate twice and he never returned my calls. I then asked to speak to a manager. A Ryan came on the line. I had a pleasant conversation with him and he assured me that yes, the keys were in the truck but he was not in the loop as to why the truck was there. I told him I would ask my son exactly who he spoke with (service manager) and Ryan assured me he would call me back. It has been approximately a month, I have called and left three messages for Ryan and he has not returned my calls. I have been in contact with the finance company who is continuing to ask for payment and mark our credit as delinquent. They do not want to repossess the truck and sell it. I am pretty confident that City Chevrolet is letting it sit there because a buy back would cost them money. This dealership is shady, uncaring and unscrupulous. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else when looking for a vehicle. I will surely be telling as many people as I can this unfortunate story. I’m also writing this because there was no other way to communicate with the dealership when they will not return calls and deal with the red truck sitting in the side lot. More
