Just Right At drop off, Kristen, the service advisor, made the extra effort to get me out the door to my wife who was taking me back home before going in to work At drop off, Kristen, the service advisor, made the extra effort to get me out the door to my wife who was taking me back home before going in to work. She made sure I was informed on progress and gave me the details I needed about the complimentary car was option. (I was not touch free so, no thanks). I have a pdf of my “Know Your Car” report for quick reference anywhere. The tire and wheel protection plan comes through again with a front tire replacement! More
Excellent Service on a Walk -In Basis I had an issue with my tire pressure monitors (I thought) and happened to be in the area of the dealership. I stopped in and the service writer was p I had an issue with my tire pressure monitors (I thought) and happened to be in the area of the dealership. I stopped in and the service writer was prompt and courteous in meeting me, asked me some questions and went outside to look at the vehicle. She checked the tire that was indicating an issue and determined that they were run flat tires, but in fact there was an issue with this one. She pulled up my records, checked to see if they had a tire in stock if it ended up needing to be replaced instead of repaired and also reminded me that I have tire and wheel coverage that was purchased when I got the vehicle. She immediately got the vehicle back to the shop, told me I could wait or that they could have someone take me back to my office and they would call me when ready and try to send someone to pick me back up. I took the ride and within a couple hours they called and said it was ready, told me what the issue was, replaced the tire and offered to touch up some scratches on my wheels if I could bring it back in on a certain date. All of this was covered under my tire and wheel warranty. The is my second BMW where the tire and wheel warranty has paid for itself when I needed a new tire or rim. I'm not normally one to buy add on warranties or extended warranties, but I do believe in the tire and wheel warranty Rick Hendrick offers. On my last vehicle, my tire issue happened while I was travelling. I had no problem at all getting the vehicle in at a BMW dealer in the area of my travels and everything quickly repaired at not cost. In this case, the service and the coverage under the tire and wheel warranty were both great and hassle free. More
Emergency Visit We were traveling on our way from Naples, FL to Connecticut with a stop in Charleston when we noticed about 2 hours away from Charleston that our AC w We were traveling on our way from Naples, FL to Connecticut with a stop in Charleston when we noticed about 2 hours away from Charleston that our AC wasn’t working. It was 95 degrees out and not only did we need to get it resolved for our time in Charleston but also for the remainder of our trip north which is another 16 hours or so in the heat. We were a little panicked because we only had about a day and a half before we were leaving to continue our trip. We called the service department & were told they were at max capacity but they would try to squeeze us in. We arrived expecting to have to leave the car and hope by some miracle that it could get fixed. We waited less than 10 minutes when a Service Advisor by the name of Tyler Morris came out & asked what the problem was. He said he would take a quick look and when he turned the car in, lo and behold the AC was working. Tyler explained that sometimes the AC needs to be reset by turning the engine off. We realize he didn’t do anything extraordinary but the fact that he took the time to simply take a look right away rather than taking the car in and fitting it in, he. saved us so much time and worry. He was so pleasant and helpful as were the rest of the staff that we encountered there. If we are ever in need, we would certainly come back. More
