The Service Dept team helped me out immensely. From Ian to Jared to Nicole, each member helped me deal with a blown tire. i needed to get from Charleston to Charlotte. The blow out happened in the early afternoon just west of Charleston. Because of delays due to the SC highway patrol, i didnt get my car to BMW Charleston until after 5 pm. At that time, most of the technicians have left for the day. However, the team was waiting for me and within 45 minutes replaced the tire (covered under tire damage warranty) and had me back on the road so i could get to Charlotte for a time sensitive matter. i appreciate the professionalism the entire team demonstrated and i will continue to bring my car to BMW Charleston for servicing needs. More
My service writer (Keith) was helpful and professional. He cared about my problem and worked to get it resolved. He took me in even though I did not have an appointment. Christian was very helpful in our experience of purchasing a used car from the dealership. He went above and beyond in making sure that everything on the car was working right and was clean and rea purchasing a used car from the dealership. The service department practice is shady. I had a $57 service charge on my invoice I didn't discover until I left the dealership. I asked them to check the alignment on my car and let me know before they do they work. They compared it to a Fiat 500's specs, and came up with a "failed" alignment and recommended the work. When I asked for explanation, I got some xxxxxxxx brush off because I am a woman. I had a mechanic friend explained to me later, and it appeared the work recommended was unnecessary. I wrote to the service representative, and escalated it to the manager, and my email is ignored. This is very unprofessional and slimy. More
