It is sad when professionals have to blatantly lie to cover their incompetence. So is the case with Rick Case Plantation Service department from their manager to Robert the Service Advisor. When told there was only one car in the household, we’re told not eligible for loaner car because it was not a mechanical issue. When asked to drive the car without air conditioner until part arrived, my husband explained, I am a Cancer survivor whose right lung was adversely affected. Facing breathing challenges with Florida’s weather. Nothing! Not only were we assured with a loaner car, the part came in, lied when it came in and a week later my husband and I are without our car. Cancer survivor with an affected right lung. 1 year cat air broke in this heat. Only car in the household. Part not available to fix. Requested a loaner car only to be told I can drive the car without air until part arrives. Only 1 car in the home. No assistance offered to expedite part or anything. Repeatedly spoke to Robert Labelle and Collin Lord. Called general manager, does not pick up. When I drove the car it clocked inside 96 degrees. Imagine with respiratory issues. Shame on them! I brought my car in for maintenance. Everyone who worked there was courteous and competent. I so appreciate good manners/courtesy. It was a wonderful experience. I have had nothing but the poorest service here when servicing my car. Today with a lease buyout was no exception. I guess letting the general manager have to finally handle it because we walked out wa servicing my car. Today with a lease buyout was no exception. I guess letting the general manager have to finally handle it because we walked out was the way to go. My fourth Hyundai. And sales person was unable to do anything and the guy who came after him was so rude, we left. We did our due diligence before we arrived. Knew our buyout price. It’s important to be educated. Saved us approx $1,100 in a ridiculous “safety fee”. Low mileage car. Still under the warranty but apparently they think what they make is not safe after three years or are padding. It never should have gotten to the general manager for such a simple thing. More
Salesman quoted us numbers but which we agreed to but during signing for the very last document which was the lease they had inflated numbers.
