Customer Satisfaction is Definitely a Priority Here I bought an 05 Ranger here and it was the first car I ever bought and had in my name from a dealership. While there were some normal hiccups with the I bought an 05 Ranger here and it was the first car I ever bought and had in my name from a dealership. While there were some normal hiccups with the process it was very clear how much they prioritized customer satisfaction. The service department promptly fixed an issue that was in the warranty period of my truck and Frank Furtak is the type of car salesman you want to buy a car from. I work for a dealership now and the type of atmosphere I love about my job is also present at Rhinebeck Ford. Even after I sold the truck they helped me get a refund on the remainder of the warranty. While I am not in the market for any (recent) Ford vehicles I would not hesitate to become a repeat customer should that change....I am saving to get a used Ford truck and I will certainly have it serviced there once I purchase it. Mechanics are like surgeons!?!? I would give 0 stars if that where possible. My Ford Sport Trac broke down and it was towed Rhinebeck Ford. It was the closest repair shop to where I would give 0 stars if that where possible. My Ford Sport Trac broke down and it was towed Rhinebeck Ford. It was the closest repair shop to where it broke down. They said it needed a new radiator and would cost $1100.00. I thought the quote was high but I had it repaired. When it was done my wife and I went to pick it up. Service told me it was fixed but it had a bit of a miss fire and suggested I take it to my mechanic. I paid for the truck and went to start it. The battery was dead so I had it jumped. When the truck finally got started it was vibrating like crazy and white smoke was billowing out of the exhaust. Water was boiling out of the radiator. None of the mechanics knew what was wrong. I left the truck there for them to look at it. My wife had to call several times before they took her call telling her it was a blown head gasket and would cost upwards of $3000.00 to repair. The truck only had 70 thousand miles on it. When I called the service manager and asked “nicely” why the blown head gasket wasn’t discovered and you let me pay for the truck he went into a tirade on that mechanics are like surgeons. What!?!? I had my truck towed to my mechanic. The tow truck driver said this was not the first time towing a car from Rhinebeck Ford. My mechanic said if it is a blown head gasket it was caused by not installing the radiator correctly. More

Went for an alignment, left $100 poorer & needing new tires Left my car for a day and a half for an alignment (said they were having "some trouble" and needed more time, but couldn't give me any more info). Whe Left my car for a day and a half for an alignment (said they were having "some trouble" and needed more time, but couldn't give me any more info). When I picked it up, the lady at the counter said "You're all good!" and handed me a completely green alignment sheet, even after I asked if there was any issues. After driving it for a bit, I felt something was up with the rear end, but chalked it up to being an older car. A few weeks later I noticed my right rear tire (brand new) was very worn. Immediately after that, I drove it in the snow for the first time since the alignment, and the back end constantly felt like it was drifting. Called them and they said "All we can do is have it in for another alignment". After they had a look, they told me the rear end was VERY out of spec, stating "something" had happened (though they couldn't identify what was broken). They then refused to fix the alignment because "the bolts are too rusty and we don't want to break anything." Then they started blaming my lift kit (apparently they can't deal with my two inches of lift, but can align F-150s with 8-inch lifts in them), telling me there "isn't enough camber adjustment in the rear". I asked them why none of this was brought up the first time around, and all they could say was "something" had caused it to go out of alignment. I asked for a refund of the original alignment, to help cover the cost of the new rear tires I was going to need, but they declined, stating they "do not warranty alignments" I asked to speak with a manager and they told me one would call me the next day... no one ever did. I was told both the first and second alignment sheets would be left in my car, but neither were. I brought my car to a Mavis and they were able to completely fix the alignment in less than two hours for half the price Rhinebeck Ford charged me. My tires have stopped wearing irregularly, and it now handles perfectly in the snow again. I didn't ask for much here - just a refund. I wasn't rude, I wasn't unreasonable. It very much seems like a mistake was made somewhere along the line (like, maybe, never actually aligning the rear of my car) and instead of owning up to it and making a return customer, they made poor excuses and lost my respect. If anyone at RB Ford actually gives a xxxx and reads this, I'd love to hear from you. Give me a shout, my number is in your system. More
