No replace or work and charged me good money for a look at the car. 4 cars should have learned my lesson. More
This dealership has been an incredibly frustrating experience, from bait and switch, dishonest pricing, to the vehicle I scheduled to test drive (since I'm from out of town) being dented up ,dirty and experience, from bait and switch, dishonest pricing, to the vehicle I scheduled to test drive (since I'm from out of town) being dented up ,dirty and having a check engine light on, to now salesman calling and texting me and even leaving insulting messages, id like to complain to the owner but they won't give me that number or email when I called the main line. I definitely would not do business here after my experience. More
Within the past 3 years we purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership, since then our vehicles have had issues when taken in for the warranty they claimed no warranty was given. When we asked for the paperwor dealership, since then our vehicles have had issues when taken in for the warranty they claimed no warranty was given. When we asked for the paperwork they continued to give us the run around. Now our second vehicle is in and they claim our bumper to bumper warranty only covers cosmetics. We are concerned as we we were told 4 months ago by an employee that red McCombs purchased many used vehicles and passed them off as certified vehicles to many customers when in fact there was no warranty. They mentioned many managers and employees are getting fired and what do you know our sales man Saroush and the sales manager PJ have been terminated. Check your paperwork and be concerned. More
I have purchased 2 vehicles from Red McCombs dealership off I-10 Hyundai starting in 2014. I have always appreciated their customer service, pricing and all around quick turnaround time to get the car. I off I-10 Hyundai starting in 2014. I have always appreciated their customer service, pricing and all around quick turnaround time to get the car. In January 2023 I dropped off my car for what i thought (was told) was going to be 5 days which was fine since I was going on vacation. Ended up being 4 weeks with no calls, no updates, no information and the 5 days turned into a full month. One of the main reasons it was taken in was for the horn. finally we get the car and the horn is not working. In march we take the car back to have it fixed and find out that between January and March our Warranty expired so we pay $200. Last month i called 4 times, no answer, no return calls to my messages. Husband goes in and schedules an appt. for Sept. but they inform him that it will take 2 weeks to diagnose. Mind you the horn is under warranty now. I try to explain that I can't be without a vehicle for 2 weeks to diagnose, another week to get the part and then another week to fix it. If I'm lucky. I go to Red McCombs 410 West and they inform me it will take 2 days to diagnose. Much nicer, they answer the phones, they text you and call you. less than 6 hours pass after dropping it off and it's ready. Had to pay over $300 even though the horn is under warranty. Call Red McCombs I-10 and no answer, so I leave a message. no call back. I finally get a call from Tony, service manager, while at work and couldnt answer. called back twice and left messages not reply. I call the Customer Service manager and leave a vm and to date, no call back. I highly recommend you stay away from this place for service and head over to Red McCombs Hyundai on 410. Wouldn't even transfer the warranty to the other shop. I wouldn't even buy another car from this place due to the treatment of their customers. I would rather pay $300 to fix the horn, which we did, even though it was under warranty on I-10 Red McCombs Hyundai, than to leave the car for a month or more if not longer. and by the way, i got my inspection sticker from them with a broken horn . I have a new truck still under basic warranty. I have recalls that need to be done and also some concerns about my vehicle and I’m told one concern will take up to 3 weeks just diagnose and anothe I have recalls that need to be done and also some concerns about my vehicle and I’m told one concern will take up to 3 weeks just diagnose and another concern could take up to a month. This is ridiculous that I am expected to go for a month just to get my car diagnosed with no other means of transportation. Do they think everyone has an extra car lying around. How am I expected to get my truck looked at when they have that kind of turn around. Good job ford. More
Waiting for a month to tow my car in for transmission control module repair scheduled for Sept 14. They tell me I have to pay $190 for diagnostics After they have the car. It's September 14th in the car control module repair scheduled for Sept 14. They tell me I have to pay $190 for diagnostics After they have the car. It's September 14th in the car has not even been touched. Now they're seeing tomorrow Friday or Monday. This is the poorest service and abuse I've ever seen. I will never get another Ford car again. I had a Bronco on order and upgraded from the mid to high package which automatically changed some aspects of the Bronco (like vinyl floors to carpet) so when my Bronco came in, I was really disappointed wit package which automatically changed some aspects of the Bronco (like vinyl floors to carpet) so when my Bronco came in, I was really disappointed with what I had ordered. Curtis Finley was able to find exactly what I wanted by the next business day so I still got to go home with my dream Bronco! More
I absolutely have not been so dissatisfied about the purchase of vehicle! I bought a 2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch ($70,000), they sold the vehicle without disclosing that the rear temperature control w purchase of vehicle! I bought a 2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch ($70,000), they sold the vehicle without disclosing that the rear temperature control was blanked off and there was a recall. Service deserves -1 star rating! They took 4 days to get a tire that had a nail in it, the dealership doesn’t give rentals, so I was without a vehicle for 4 days. I’m so upset because I paid extra in finance for their service and the service is terrible! Issac the service manager is awful! William, service advisor, stated the vehicle had a recall on the temp controller and that we were the first ones to be put on the list if the part came in. Apparently now Issac said, “The part can’t be ordered, because ford is not accepting recalls on it!” That a customer had ordered the part months ago and have not claimed it, what a coincidence that today they were going to tell me if the customer had claimed it and what do you know THEY DID! My husband got tired of them giving me the runaround and my husband talked to Issac, after my husband loosing his cool, Issac wanted to talk to me! We paid good money for a vehicle and they can’t get the part. I called Ford and they have the part in stock! It’s crap! No one can make it right! We are in the market to buy a Ford F-250 and hands down without a doubt I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them!!!!! They are rude and don’t care about their customers at all. Going to look and see if I can go to another Ford dealership for all my service needs! I’m so upset!!! If you are looking into buying a Ford, don’t use them, you will be disappointed!!!!!! More
I turned my 2022 Ford Maverick in for a warranty service repair and had to get a rental for an estimated time of a week or more. Since this vehicle is covered under warranty for the bumper to bumper warran repair and had to get a rental for an estimated time of a week or more. Since this vehicle is covered under warranty for the bumper to bumper warranty repair, the vehicle was turned in for service with approx. 13,000 miles on the odometer. I read online warranty information that Ford would cover costs of up to 30 dollars a day for up to 10 days. I was told I need to cover the entire cost of the rental myself? With a vehicle being in service for 7-8 days, the economy rental is going to cost me 300 or more dollars during this period. Honda and Toyota have covered warranty repairs with either "loaner" car fleets or rentals in my past purchases of their products. Why is this not a policy with Ford? The vehicle is overheating and losing coolant and it was not advisable to drive since doing so could result in engine or component damage. Why is it not part of Ford's warranty service to provide rentals or rental assistance? The vehicle is still under manufacturers warranty and it should not matter if I bought the extended warranty. I was asked by the service member assisting me if I had an extended warranty and I told her I did not. Given the vehicle is still under the initial manufacturers warranty, this should not matter if I bought extended coverage? The vehicle is not being covered by an extended warranty, but the 36 month/36,000 mile "bumper to bumper". This is extremely expensive issue to a consumer buying a Ford product, only to have these issues so early in the vehicle's life. I plan to contact the general manager and the regional office tomorrow because this is not a good practice to pass this total cost on to the buyer still under a warranty. More
