I went to Randy Marion Subaru while shopping around on WRX prices totally not planning to buy this day. I was in the market for a new Subaru and after dealing with several dealers, Jeff Matchery at Randy Marion Subaru was the clear choice. When I submitted an inquiry I received a phone call within minutes with several dealers, Jeff Matchery at Randy Marion Subaru was the clear choice. When I submitted an inquiry I received a phone call within minutes and he was willing to work on the pricing of both my trade in as well as the new Outback. Upon going to Randy Marion, I was greeted by Todd who took me to Jeff for the keys. I test drove the vehicle and Jeff and I discussed the cost of vehicles (trade in plus new). The nice part was that Jeff cut right to the chase and told me the price for the trade in and the Subaru; which I accepted. Next step was Chris and the financing which again was an easy experience. While I was signing the paperwork for the Subaru, Jeff and Todd worked with the parts department to get the few accessories that I needed for the vehicle (protective mats, etc). Since the dealership started getting busy, Todd was the individual who showed me the ins and outs of the new vehicle (and there are plenty). Before I left with the new vehicle the GM, Charles McCarty and his son both stopped to express their gratitude for using Randy Marion for my vehicle purchase. Overall, you will not go wrong in dealing with anyone at the Randy Marion. Honest, trust-worthy, individuals that stand by their word and a great buying experience. More
I have spent the past several weeks visiting car dealerships and researching vehicles on line. I finally decided on a 2014 Subaru Legacy Limited. I wanted to purchase locally but could not reach a dealerships and researching vehicles on line. I finally decided on a 2014 Subaru Legacy Limited. I wanted to purchase locally but could not reach an agreement with the manager at Modern Subaru in Boone who became somewhat rude when he declined my offer. I will say his sales staff were very helpful and friendly. That same day, I went to Randy Marion and Lake Norman Subaru dealerships. From the moment I made eye contact with Todd Burgie, I was so impressed with his friendliness, with his ability to make me feel special (who doesn't love that?) without being intrusive. I just retired after 28 years selling real estate and I know how hard it can be to relate on an individual basis. Todd nailed it! Although I went to Lake Norman after stopping at Randy Marion, I knew I would be going back to Todd. My offer was accepted and I saved money by leaving the northwestern mountains and driving to Mooresville. I am telling all my friends! Oh, and Todd, the restaurant was perfect! I had just been in a very bad car accident, in fact, if I hadn't been in my Subaru Forester, I would probably be dead, but actually walked away. In 2011 I began to look for a new Subaru and contacted Jeff by email about the vehicles they had available. At the time WRX's and STI's were in short supply due to it being the end of the year. He stated that if I wanted a specific model that he would give me a great price and followed that up with an email detailing the prices which were far lower than anything in my general area or anywhere in the state for that matter. I still owned my Honda Civic SI and wanted to see if I could private sell it before I traded for a new car. Also my fiance had a motorcycle that we were trying to get rid of prior to the sale so of course we didn't act on a new car purchase at the time. Jeff stayed in contact not always asking about buying a car but asked how things were going otherwise. Then I passed a new WRX in my local area and test drove the vehicle. It was the perfect car but at the wrong dealership. I emailed Jeff right away after I saw that they had the identical vehicle enroute to their dealership. I told him that I wanted the car and within days I had gone from a potential buyer to driving my new pearl white WRX away from Randy Marion Subaru. Every time I called a person answered and at no time did I deal with anyone that didn't have the best customer service I had ever experienced. The purchase process lasted less than an hour and most of the paperwork was completed right when I arrived. Over the phone they gave me an estimated price of what my vehicle would be and I was completely satisfied with the process. They didn't try to see me things I didn't need and only pushed what was necessary. Thanks again Jeff and Chris at Randy Marion Subaru. More
